I don't see what this has to do with Raul. Robinho has a completely free role in the team. When did he complain about the position he plays?

Yes, Calderon and co. are clueless.

Where have I ever denied this?
no you also seem to be clueless considering from July to August you won´t find a single interview with Robinho saying he would stay in Madrid after the whole Cristiano ordeal.

Robinho ever since being offered in the deal for Cristiano has been asking for a better contract. Madrid keeps denying and ever since he is asking to be released to Chelsea.

Link bellow shows all the procees, him not happy, wanting to move, working for a better contract, not getting it and asking for the move.

Not once he said he would stay, so your whole tirade about how Cristiano was more fair and honest is bullshit. If Robinho got treated like Cristiano at United he would not even leave.

Robinho had talks with Calderon and Mijatovic, which made them believe he's satisfied and that he will stay, but now he comes out with such a statement.

What does this have to do with Raul?

Robinho has come out and disrespected the club and fans, yet the Robsonistas will stick by his side no matter what.

He just spit in your face while your captain would never dare of doing anything like that, yet you villify the wrong person.

Give your heads a shake.

Like I've said for a while, Robson can **** off. We're too big for this shit.

Your right, Robinho has nothing to do with Raul. Raul hasn't stunted any one players growth. If you want to actually look at it realistically, he has stunted Real Madrid's growth.

I like Robinho and didn't want him to leave, but his constant moaning is starting to piss me the **** off. I say sell him as long as we are willing to bring in Quaresma, who is IMO around the same level as Robinho, except better than him for wing play. Robinho isn't really suited for the wing. He has even stopped taking players on at full dribble along the wing. So he can't cross or dribble at full speed down that wing anymore apparently. Quaresma on the wing would be an upgrade to Robinho. Not because I feel as an all around player he is any better than Robinho. However, he is the superior winger, no doubt about it.

Hell lets compare their abilities:

Shot: easily Quaresma
Crossing: easily Quaresma
Dribbling on the run: Quaresma
Dribbling in a tight space: Robinho
Distribution: Robinho
Intelligence: Robinho
physical attributes: easily Quaresma

If you can't pick out the better winger from here then I say you have problems.

show me links to these talks, because all there was were comments from Calderon saying he is not negoatiable, at least not know when they can´t sign Cristiano, and there is numerous articles about him going up to the president personaly and asking for the move.

There has been articles from Marca saying otherwise but they also said he would not travel to Mestalla.... The only direct quote is from his manager saying he gave up on the transfer.

agree with Liternit.

JOSH: no im not confused at all. where did Robinho say that hes staying? he never said that. all he has said is he is leaving. His agent has said he is leaving. no one other than schuster has said he is staying and even then schuster said hes part of his plans.

Robinho never lied to anyone, he has been honest from the very start.

You never know what's going on inside the club, but Calderon and Mijatovic both stated that he would not leave and that he would be satisfied. This time, I just can't believe that they're that stupid not to talk to him and make sure how the situation with him is developing. Of course they had talks and these clowns believed that he would stay, but now - a few days to go in the transfer window - he comes out with this statement. Why the hell didn't he do it earlier? Because apparently he had talks with Calderon and Mijatovic.

here is the final proof, Robinho had given up on the transfer on 20/08/2008 because the president was not accepting offers, yet he was looking to move in the next transfer window. (meaning he never said he would stay)

Wagner Ribeiro

- His wish to move to Chelsea has been broke, since Real rejects any negotiation. Its impossible to discuss the matter.
- We will return to the situation next summer, if the people can have common sense.

but two days latter Real seems to be giving in.

Real Madrid have told Robinho that he will be allowed to leave the Bernabéu after all, though only if Chelsea offer what would amount to a British record sum of £32m for the Brazil international as negotiations between the clubs continue to crawl towards a resolution.

so if we never know how do you know Robinho wanted to stay? From everything we read he always claimed he wanted to move.

Maybe if Calderon was not stupid he would never offer Robinho for Cristiano and if you read just few days ago the negotiation had halted, but ever since the start of the month Wagner and Robinho have been working for a move, they thought Real Madrid would not allow this winter so they were aiming to move in the summer.

But it seems Chelsea is pressing for the move this window.

Bottom line is Calderon was always saying Robinho would stay, just as he promissed to sign Cristiano and Kaka. Talking out of his ass as usual.

What the hell? I have posts of you yourself stating you wish he stayed and he didn't get a fair treatment. Do you want me to pull those up or should I give you the opportunity to rephrase your post?
No,i ll keep my post.I like his skills,I like his game but he behaved like a kid.Perhaps he was really a kid but then today you see so many kids having composure and patience.Rijkaard is not the sort to kick you out just like that,i was just talking about his attitude.Thats all.

I don't know either what's going on in the club, but I figure that Calderon was so sure about Robinho, because he had promising talks with him. That's what pisses me off, I can't believe Calderon would be so sure about his disposition, if he didn't have promising talks with him. Nobody is that stupid.

Of course Calderon is the main target to blame for all this shit, but it developed so unbelievably bad that something must have been ambiguous.

I blame Calderon and Robinho for this shit.

why does calderon have to say everything in the press? If he gets a player, people will get to know automatically.I know Marca and AS are vultures but they cant decide how the club is run and the management have to draw a line somewhere.Probbaly Calderon is not confident himself and has to be a media whore all the time.

Actually what was Calderon supposed to do he focused all his energy in a signing that failed. All he can do now is deny a move and expect Chelsea to pay the buyout clause, but seems he has given in and is willing to sell.

after all he did say he would never do what Manchester United did, keep a player against his will.

The funny thing is I expected this to happen, I looked so clear once he tried to use Robinho in the deal that everything would backfire.

Robinho said his primary motive for wanting out was to become the best player in the World - a feat he can not achieve in Madrid.

Let's look at the facts;

- The club tried to exchange him for Cristiano Ronaldo.

- The club promised him earlier in the year that a contract extension would be tabled at the end of the season to reward his "phenomenal" form. The club did not go through with this promise. In fact, not only did they try to exchange him for CR, after this fiasco they insulted his intelligence by communicating they would offer him an extension in September (i.e if Ronaldo doesn't come, you'll get your contract).

- The club signed VdV and are looking at signing David Villa or Huntelaar. These players will NOT be in competition with Raul - they will be in competition with Robinho for a spot on the team.

How can you become the best player in the World with such little confidence in your abilities and being severely undervalued?

If we look at it from his perspective - he has a chance to join a very strong team, play for a familiar coach who will give him the confidence and the freedom he needs, plus earn much more money over more years than is currently on offer at Madrid.

Good Luck to him.

:howler: How times change. Remember you and Mo defending him when I told you he was an asshole of a person a while back. Now you know. Can play a bit though.

Mo, he will never admit that he leaves because of the money. And David Villa and Huntelaar are not competing for Robinho's spot. The only person he will have to fight for the spot will be Drenthe. (Robben will be injured and Higuain will play as a striker)

Read my post above and tell me who is the asshole.
:pp I know he is your fav player but no need to get shirty. Did he really say he wanted to move to become the best player in the world? mmm. Maybe his head is too far up where the sun don't shine. If he is that great why is a club like Madrid shafting him so much like you say? Just doesn't add up. Unless of course there are problems with him rather than just as a footballer.

Maturin

because thats how Madrid works, they are the most unorganized big club I have ever seen. I think the whole thing about moving because he wants to be the best is bullshit, he is going because he feels Madrid are willing to sell him at any time and he is making less money then people on the bench.

He has behaved very well in Madrid, despite them blocking his plans for the Olympics even though they said he could go or how they holded a new contract offer up untill they could not sign Ronaldo.

He was a real mercenary with Santos, not showing up in the club and forcing a move at all costs. I think thats carma, now he got the other side of the stick with Real Madrid.
