It means one option less upfront....i think Dalic should have managed better the situation by taking him face to face and make him get that they play for something bigger than individual cases...he is the manager. Not sure send a player you can't replace away was the best option.
I don't think the manager needs to explain that at a WC...Kale should know better...after his poor season he really should have no complaints...personally, I think this could work out for us because Dalić will now be forced to use Pjaca off the bench probably more than he intended...and now there's no chance of seeing Mandžo and Kale on the pitch together which is a big positive.

with Kalinic though, it seems bizarre... who seriously does not want to play for their NT against Brazil, even as a substitute... i cannot imagine that there has ever been a kid that kicked a football that did not dream of playing at a WC... and yet you turn down going on as a substitute because of a till then unannounced injury... he is either a spoiled brat or there is something unknown about the situation
It's a classic dummy spit. He's had a frustrating season at Milan where he couldn't find form and has dropped down the pecking order in the NT.

Rebić has claimed one of the wide attacking spots (meaning Mandžukić doesn't have to play there) and Kramarić has finally worked his way into the XI (a spot he's deserved for at least two seasons now).

Barring injury to Mandžukić he knew he was only going to get scraps in this tournament and I guess he felt insulted.

Blessing in dusguise if you ask me, there's not much difference between him and Mandžukić and now there's no chance of Dalić doing something silly and playing them together. We'll also use Pjaca more (although out of form I'm sure he can still be useful in bursts).

Relax, there's absolutely no reason to believe this referee has anything against us. The Rebić red card against Mexico was legit.

Regardless of the line up the the most important thing will be self belief. We have the quality to get a result but if we go into our shells or if Dalić plays a negative game our chances will go down. Gutted for Krama if he ends up being benched although the logic is understandable.

Personally, I'd sit Perišić because on current form he doesn't deserve to be in there ahead of Krama or Rebić.

And another alias. :shakehead:

ffs suho, enough of this crap. It was slightly funny the first 94 times, but now its getting ridiculous.

Grow up dude.
I know it's your wet dream but I only have one account and don't need multis to do my trolling. Feel free to ask Baraba to run an IP check or STFU. :)

Some very good comments here, well said SLF, dalmate...and thanks for always having my back ero. Suho just made me spit up my coffee saying "there's not much difference between him (Kalinic) and Mandžukić" ...OMG thats funny! I don't think I even have to make a comment on this one, his words speak for themself...hahahaha!!!
I know your football knowledge is vastly superior to mine but a bit of humility wouldn't go astray. What I meant is they're both centre forwards who play mostly back to goal, get the ball to feet, good in the air etc. Our only other natural striker Kramarić, for example, is a different type of forward.

Mandžo is definitely a workhorse but the claim that Kale doesn't work hard enough is nothing but hate. The big difference between the two is Mandža covers a lot more ground but that also reflects on their goal per minute ratios, with the closer-to-goal Kale having the best ratio of any attacker to have played in the NT (better even than Šuker and Eduardo). And I'd say Kale is the more clever player, always capable of getting a good flick on, playing a one-two etc.

And if you look at the games we've played when Kale's been at CF there's no major difference in our overall output or effectiveness. Picking between the two, at least IMO, comes down to current form and perhaps taste.
