Maturin - Madrid messed up with the Ronaldo saga. That's how it all started. Robinho is a great player, if he wasn't Schuster wouldn't fight so hard to keep him.

Mo, he will never admit that he leaves because of the money. And David Villa and Huntelaar are not competing for Robinho's spot. The only person he will have to fight for the spot will be Drenthe. (Robben will be injured and Higuain will play as a striker)
I don't think it has anything to do with money. I think he realizes that he will not be the best player in the World here because they don't value him.

Villa and Huntelaar are not going to compete with Raul. Come on RahzeL, you know this. It will be 4-3-3 with Raul and Villa either side of RVN.

But Schuster himself openly stated how important Robinho is to this team. Calderon's reason for not selling him was his importance to the team. He should rather focus on how Schuster values him rather than the board.

The fact that we're going for Villa or Huntelaar makes me believe that we're really looking for a striker to replace Ruud van Nistelrooy. Anyway, this whole summer was a complete mess. :(

What does this have to do with Raul?

Robinho has come out and disrespected the club and fans, yet the Robsonistas will stick by his side no matter what.

He just spit in your face while your captain would never dare of doing anything like that, yet you villify the wrong person.

Give your heads a shake.

Like I've said for a while, Robson can **** off. We're too big for this shit.
right..it just his problem. he never prove his full-potencial in madrid. raul?

true big player beated rival...kaka beated rui costa

to whoever made the idiotic comment that Robinho will not achieve as much as Raul
(Im too lazy to look who):

How the heck do you know that?!?
unlike Raul, Robinho can actually win a World Cup or 2.

and all this talk of Robinho lying....like Madrid, the president directors, boards, and agents dont all lie. how do we know what said in the media is really whats going on? Turth is, Robinho wants a starting spot, and to work with a more familiar coach.

Robinho has more of a chance of starting for Madrid than Chelsea, make no mistake about it.

I made the comment and a world cup doesn't make up for all the titles Raul won, and I think he won't win as much, because Chelsea won't win the CL 3 times in the next few years. It's nearly impossible to do that nowadays.

Look, I'm just wondering why the **** he says that he wants to join Chelsea because he wants to win titles and become the best player on earth. It's ridiculous, he makes it sound as if it was impossible to win something at Real Madrid.

Robinho doesn't leave because he wants a starting spot, he has this ****ing starting spot at Real Madrid. He even has a free role, he never complained about the position he plays. He leaves because of the money, accept it or not. I'm tired of talking about Robinho, let him go finally.

Calderon and co showed no mercy when openly wanting to bring CR while refusing a salary upgrade to robinho.
as an employer and employee that's the 1+1 you need to do and understand that the "company" does not value you. So got look for another job. and so robinho did.
If anyone is still believing in all the "I bleed for the club, i masturbate wearing a white shirt" shit then better wake up.
Players will go to whatever club pay more to them.
Now, I'm not blaming raul for this, I think Calderon pushed robinho to make a decision much more then raul taking his spot (Though i do agree that raul needs to be benched).

The one comment i do agree is (not sure who wrote it), to look at what happen to the spanish NT once raul was gone.
That's a food for thought for all the raul lovers...

can´t it be for all the reasons? Chelsea will be a lot more organized under Scolari and he will get payed better.

Plus considering Chelsea benches any player that is not performing not matter his salary is also a good thing.

You wrote chelsea (The team) while talking on raul as a person.
If you think raul by himself won us those 3 CLs, then i guess you were to young to actually see those teams playing.
Raul was a player part of these 3 CLs, not the reason, he had great help from many players (the list is long) that without them he would not have 3 CL.
Simple as that.

Right now however, he is a liability.

Listen, I know my comment wasn't clear enough. My point was that Robinho said that he wants to leave Real Madrid because of the titles and becoming the best player on earth, (you have to do well in the CL to do this) and it looked like that was impossible at Real Madrid. I was frustrated so I didn't make it clear enough. I edited my last post as well to make it clearer.

Your frustration is understandable. Due to their ineptitude, I am more concerned of how they might deal with players like S. Ramos and so forth.

If they are willing to spend, I cannot wait to see what concrete excuses (a signing or two) Calderon and co. might produce to make us disregard our major loss.

Sergio Ramos is spanish and there is hardly any stars in that positions which would mean they would ship him out. The stupid thing was not buying Silva or Villa this season if both came Robinho leaving would have no impact, the team would be even better considering Villa would probably bench Raul for good.

Robinho said his primary motive for wanting out was to become the best player in the World - a feat he can not achieve in Madrid.

Let's look at the facts;

- The club tried to exchange him for Cristiano Ronaldo.

- The club promised him earlier in the year that a contract extension would be tabled at the end of the season to reward his "phenomenal" form. The club did not go through with this promise. In fact, not only did they try to exchange him for CR, after this fiasco they insulted his intelligence by communicating they would offer him an extension in September (i.e if Ronaldo doesn't come, you'll get your contract).

- The club signed VdV and are looking at signing David Villa or Huntelaar. These players will NOT be in competition with Raul - they will be in competition with Robinho for a spot on the team.

How can you become the best player in the World with such little confidence in your abilities and being severely undervalued?

If we look at it from his perspective - he has a chance to join a very strong team, play for a familiar coach who will give him the confidence and the freedom he needs, plus earn much more money over more years than is currently on offer at Madrid.

Good Luck to him.

if i were in his position i will do the same, i dont even understand how can this be debate, RM ****ed up big time. **shake head in disbilieve**

You're clueless as usual. I couldn't care less about Robinho leaving. My issue is he's lied to people for quite some time now. We(Portuguese speaking people) saw his interview where he said he had a dream of playing with Scolari and hoped he could be sold to Chelsea. Then he lied for over a month in Madrid, saying the opposite. Now on August 22nd he comes out with this shit, that just doesn't sit right with me. Cristiano, for example, was clear all along in what he wanted, but Robson lied and conned his way into this.

I think you're confused. I'm not upset he wants to leave. I'm upset at the way he handled it and lied to people. I saw with my own eyes a month ago where he said he wanted to go to Chelsea, and all he's done since then is lie until now. Now. August 22nd. Lies up to the 22nd of August, just days before the market closes. Now he wants to "officially" leave. The lies bother me.
:rollani: bs. C. Ronaldo used to say one thing to the English press then walk two feet and start singing his dream of Spanish football to the Portuguese/Spanish press. See immediately after the CL final for example. Robinho hasn't done anything that C. Ronaldo didn't do except come right out and demand that he be sold to Chelsea.

robinho hasnt said anything about wanting to stay.
