I think Rijkaard is planning to surprise Mourinho. This time, I think Rijkaard will win the tactical battle. Mourinho probably thinks that Barca will be more cautious and therefore a lot more conservative, wary of Chelsea's counter attacks. But in reality, I think Rijkaard will order his men to put Chelsea to the sword early on. Barca won't sit back or be cautious, why should they? They will come out strong and try to kill the tie after 20 minutes. Barca's best form of defense is attack and I don't think that will change tonight.

Any chance of Barça hitting Chelsea on the set-pieces? All the talk of Chelsea hitting us on their set-pieces (alongside counter-attack)....

hmmmm...maybe if Barça are leading in the game, Jimmy Jump would invade the pitch.
Ronaldinho's free-kicks are always dangerous, I think 33% end up in a goal.

Our corners are dangerous when Larsson and Márquez are around.

I don't think it will happen.
We'll probably be more conservative than usual and we'll have to be patient just like in the 1rst leg.
The key will be to control the tempo of the game and not to lose the ball easily in midfield.

Damn too many scenarios can happen!! Really stressful!!

Agree, if were too attacking we will suffer a goal like in the first leg last year. However if we start too conservative then we could get blitzed in the first minutes like at Stamford Bridge last season if they come out starting to attack.

Also in that fixture we were through at half time and came out conservative again passing about. We suffered a goal in this state again. Infact we have only scored when we have needed to against Chelsea and im abit worried about the start of this game as we dont need to.

We cannot let in an early goal, the crowd are going to be in absolute rage, the nearest thing to the Figo return IMO and we need to hold this as long as possible. If Chelsea score early it wil lose ALOT of the effect the crowd could play in the match, I remember Cech couldnt keep a kick inside the pitch in the beginning of the first leg because of this.

Yes, I literally this minute just made this discovery! :D:D:D

Well, my dad "made" the discovery, I simply take credit for it. Thanks to the miracle of too many channels and my sister going to the ballet, I will be able to watch us on her TV. Thank God for that. :D
You lucky git!!!
I was just checking the tv guide myself and found out that ITV4 starts coverage at 7 for the Rangers game..so that's more than 40 minutes of pre-match coverage whilst ITV1 showing Barca's game it's just starting live coverage at 7:30!!! How ridiculous is that?? :frustrat:
Just watching Skysports News now..talking about Barca's crowd and the reaction expected.
Showing 5 facts about Barca now..
Gosh how excited I am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :googly:

Fan-tastic

After the fantastic support shown in the first match against Chelsea by the Barcelona supporters, Edmílson believes that the fans can help the team win again in Camp Nou. "I hope that the stadium will be full and that we will receive the same support from our supporters that we did in the first game. The fans in London were great and I hope that the people can be like one extra player on Tuesday and will help us win."

Brings me to tears...lol

the ITV4 programme normally builds up both games, and as Barca v Chelsea is so anticipated i expect there will be plenty of coverage on there about this game.

Puyol and Márquez has to watch out for yellow cards. If anyone of them get a yellow card they won't play the 1/4-finals (if we make it there). We can't afford having Puyol or Márquez suspended.

Been ready Gorky Park and the bodies have been discovered with there finger tips cut off. If I dont stop biting my nails Im going to be the same by the end of tonight!

CRY HAVOC AND LET LOOSE THE DOGS OF WAR!!!

C'mon guys, get pumped up for this one. Crank up the music. Ronaldinho, Messi, Eto'o, Deco, Puyol! Our warriors are going to go out there and ravage Chelsea on the field of battle!

Visca Barça!!! Visca Catalunya!!!

I believe the biggest historic battle ever was on the Catalan fields. It was Rome + some hired barbarian tribes against Attila's Hunnic forces + barbarian allies. 300 000 corpses were there after the battle.. It is said that no one gained, both lost. :lazy:

2 1/4 hours left, anxiuolsy waiting to see this Barcelona of Dinho, Eto'o, Deco, Messi, Puyol, Marquez, etc play, just like I have for the last couple of years:cool:
