Real Madrid and the treble

Comfortable in the league and a copa final against a Barca team struggling to cope with all the off field problems and the mess of a defense on the field. That's the double sorted.

They are loaded in attack, and its working with precision. Like a well oiled machine. Ancelotti has put out the fires in the dressing room and created a great atmosphere.

Has Ancelotti done what people thought Mourinho would do with all those resources. I mean never has Madrid looked so bloody good and devoid of any issues in the last decade. Ancelotti has not only out coached Mourinho, but created a genuine monster. Add to that Ronaldo being in the best form of his career. Is this Real Madrid unstoppable?

A 2-2 draw away from home would be pretty good in a CL knockout tie.

Go toe-to-toe I feel. Bayern a defense isn't exactly stellar and Robben and Ribery aren't getting any younger. They are on the fallside of their peak. Whereas Real Madrid are on the upside of their peak.

Actually Real Madrid has not done well in the big matches at all and that's what the CL is all about. They lost away to Barcelona because of some weird tactics by Carlo. Against Atletico it's not that good either. Of course they kicked them out of the Copa but they were quite lucky with their goals. In the league they lost at home to Atletico and away they were outclassed for most parts of the game but Ronaldo somehow scored and they managed to get away with a point.

I'm not saying Real Madrid is not really strong because they are but there is still so much to prove.

Err.. Ronaldo? Bale? Benzema? Di Maria?

Not exactly short on firepower are they.

Playing any side who parks the bus has the possibility for a negative result...I think Chelsea and man utd will be 2 sides to avoid

They would park the bus...those games make me nervous because Rooney and RVP just need one moment...just like Chelsea and BM

Alonso seems immune to criticism but when he has a bad game it's cause the opposition are targeting him, what can he do? Madrid should be so lucky to have him he is the quintessential European midfielder. Since being at Madrid, they've been to 3 semi finals. At Liverpool two finals and one semi final. Without haven't him Liverpool haven't go to knockouts.

He's literally another assistant manager in the field.

He's an example to other footballers as well, he didn't want to sign his extension with Real Madrid until he came back on the pitch and know he's still the same player post injury :proud: I just wish he takes more shots from outside the box sometimes. He's got the power and accuracy

i am not calling Xabi a Kieran Richardson now,but managers say all sorta shit to boost the player's image,Xabi wont make the Barca XI for example and Pep,the man that he is,Xabi is nothing in front of him,he is not even the best spanish mid.

Xavi/Iniesta & Busquets showed him his place in every single El Clasico.

he is a very good player but dont compare him to Pep.

Just because someone is exposed does not mean he has the potential to be a very good manager
