i might have advocated getting DB back at the beginning of the season and last season when we had talented players who didnt much of a helping hand, but i wouldnt want him now. we've got young players who need to be developed and formed into a team. i dont think DB is the man for hte job.
you may say DB has proved himself with RM and that schuster has never coached a big team but DB failed with besiktas whilst schuster is succeeding (tremendously) with a small team.
also if we take benitez as an example, he got fired from both OSasuna and another la liga club but look at what he did at valencia and now liverpool.
i dont think this is an argument at all, and its a matter of the coach himself and the way he thinks. we need someone to mould our boys together, and they need to be all heading in the same direction. capello whos succeeded with every club imaginable hasnt done that so this 'experience' thing is a non-argument. schuster is the man for us.
not sure. and my argumentation was different. I mean to take a coach whos never worked with a big team is actually risky. It can go well (like DelB himself proved alothough that was another situation) but its a looot of pressure and hes not got the experience of working with primadonnas and with the internal structures (these DelB knew perfectly).
On DelB, Im not interested how he did with Besiktas, all I care is how he did with us and hes lead us to 2 CL trophies. In 2000 even he formed us to a real team.
Ok what makes you so sure that hes the man for us? Hes doing great with small teams but thing is noone doesnt expect much of them. If they wins 3-0 against Valencia, hes Big in the headlines but when loosing 0-2 to Bilbao noone cares coz its Getafe. What I mean is that its complete different with RM, wins are expected and every loss is big in the headlines.
Well, if hes really the man for us we will see if he really comes. As for me, Im still sceptical.
