Just curious.. who do you guys think is the better coach? Barcelona's Frank Rijkaard or Inter Milan's Roberto Mancini?

Rijkaard is a rookie coach, a decent coach at best. Dont have much part in Barca's success because another coach could do what he does. But he has atleast accomplished something with Barca. Built a system(typical dutch way, he is not tactically good or diverse) and picked the right players.

What has Mancini done? **** all besides win bunch of Coppa Italias. The sooner Inter get rid of him, the better. I hope people dont give too much credit to him when Inter win this season.

Riijkard, the level of pressure he faces is massive compared to Mancini and the job at Barca means he has more tactical limitations because Barca's style demands the manager can only play ith a forward thinking mentality so therefore Riijkard has to implement other strategies such as making the team hold the ball better and rotating the position between Eto'o and Ronaldinho when the opponent pressures the Barca left wing. The fact that he won a european cup with this cavalier style of play proves to me he's a better coach

Thats abit harsh Osman, he did alright job with Fiorentina, good with Lazio and his Inter record isn't great yet (waite what he does this season actually). I agree with the current squad he has (not only the best in Italy but also one of the best in Europe) not many would give him the credit if he only wins the title. But if he wins the CL (the trible) I think that would be a job well done. He has nice philosophy of football (attacking) and brought confidence and stability to Inter but does seem clueless with his formation and tactics.

I think anyone who gets the privilege to manage the likes of Ronaldinho, Messi and Eto'o has no other option but to play beautiful football. I doubt whether even Capello can make them play other then that.

Not Rijkaard. He has done a miracle at Barcelona.
I wouldn't call it a miracle, it's more about Laporta and Beguiristan with their signings IMO. Rijkaard has had a great selection of players at his hand and his main quality as a manager is that he keeps it simple tactically and gives the players freedom they need in attack ( he has good man management skills too of course). Basically he's still a rookie manager and probably he would flop outside Barca. But he would be dumb to leave because he's the right kind of manager for Barca and Barca is the right kind of club for him.
