I'm sorry if this thread is discussed already. But, who has made the most impact in Baracelona: Romario, Rivaldo, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho.

Romario, Rivaldo and Ronaldinho all won La Liga with Barca, Ronaldo didn't and only stayed for one season (so he really shouldnt be on the list).

I would rate Romario over Rivaldo and only time will tell what Ronaldinho will be able to achieve for the club.

1st - Ronaldinho. He changed everything. We were in a deep crisis of 5 years and he carried this team to fight for the title in his first year. Since the very first moment, he acted like a leader. You saw him talking with everyone, cheering his teammates, the fans,... he neved hide. He's a "captain". Among all the Brazilians we had, he's the one that made more impact for sure.

2nd - Rivaldo - He was very good and very consistent through the years. Probably, the most efficient in all the senses. He scored goals and he made everyone play. The problem of Rivaldo was his constant melancholy. Besides, he was always complaining about his position or whatever. His teammates wanted him to be the captain and he refused the responsability and all this cold situations were confusing. That's why many times he was booed by the fans. He never connected with the Camp Nou. He was too cold and individualist (not in his game).

3rd - Romario - The "cartoon" player. He scored lots of goals and was spectacular. I've never seen any striker like this one. He could have been among the big kings if he had wanted to. His first year was impressive, unstoppable. His motivation was great and his game really beautiful. He won the WC and he thought that he had done everything in life. A pity, he liked more the chicks and the parties than playing football...understandable, but he could have done more things in football.

4th - Ronaldo - He did great in his only season here. But the way he left was awful. I'm sure that Nuñez is to blame for sure. On the other hand, I think that he was fooled by his agents, who just wanted to take as much money as possible from him. Anyway, he won the CWC for us, but he wasn't in the Copa final that we won in the Bernabeu. He wasn't enough to win La Liga. I think that noone hates him, despite playing in Madrid. Ignorance is the word. He came, he did well and left through the back door. A couple of goals to remember, but that's all. Like Rivaldo, he's not a leader. People always prefered Luis Enrique, Guardiola and Figo over Ronaldo.

Is that the Cricket World Cup ?

I guess it's Romario who was the best Brazilian in the team to this day.
Do I need to reply that question...

And no, it has to be Rivaldo or Ronaldinho, never someone who was just one year in Barcelona... his 2nd season (half season, actually) was to forget. He just was in the last year of the Dream Team. For us, Stoitchkov, Laudrup, Koeman, Guardiola or Bakero (to name a few) were way more important.

Rivaldo is my all-time-fav. so my vote goes to him. Ronaldinho comes near though, given he's just a magician. Romario and Ronaldo have been in Barcelona too shortly for my taste, not denying the impact they definately made for sure.
Don't forget Evaristo, who score the vital goal that kicked Real Madrid out of the Eurocup in 1961 in order to make Barça reach the final. ;)

For tonight,it is Thiago Motta

Btw,Koeman4 is completely right, his list is the most obvious one.Too many people would have hard time distinguishing Romario the player to Romario the Barca player.Though great in his (short.Says a thing or two) time there, didnt acheive much there, not as much as Rivaldo, and Ronaldinho is way more important then Romario ever was for Barca.

For me Rivaldo is the best.

i was in Camp Nou during Barça Valencia when he socred by a bicycle in 2001 and during 5 min crowd where singing " Ri -val- do" and it were amazing. He was shy but making great goals.

Now I think Ronaldinho soon may be the best. He did a lot yet, but he should become a legend here

That was not a true acrobatic bicycle kick, it was an overhead kick.

Yeah, I think it was the last minute of the last match of the season, if we won, we would become 4th and go the the CL, if we lost, Valencia would stay 4th and go to the CL.
I cellebrated the goal it like if we had won La Liga... it was the last minute... the importance of the goal... 5 minutes later, I realized that it was so miserable to celebrate that we were... 4th!

People know he is good..... but he just does not know how to sell himself well. Too much of an introvert..... in Brazilian football, it is much better to be an extravert
Very well put, describes and declares completely what I was aiming at.

But it's actually this very introvert manner, in which he presents himself in the public, his humble self in combination with his undoubted genius on the pitch, that makes him my hero :star:
