What the hell are you talking about? Venhlynskyi was AMAZING at Dnipro. He was probably the best striker in the UPL in his prime - for two seasons at least. Injuries ruined him, but he was great. Dnipro had a neat little squad with Nazarenko and co in their prime in the middle - made a deep run into Europe around the same time Venhlynskyi was scoring at will (early 2000's)
Dnipro have the squad, but I think Ramos might be the wrong man for the job. I'm not sure, but you can't be losing to Volyn at home with 30,000 supporters showing up to cheer you on - that doesnt show promising signs for Europe, or any domestic silverware. Just tactically they seem inept. Maybe it will take time to bring the squad together, early days still. Consistency is the real issue with Dnipro, Metalist are better tactically at playing 'the other' teams in the UPL, and hence logically could push the big two I figure.
Speaking of tactics, Pavlov is an absolute mastermind sometimes (like today), and then you got to love how his players enjoy playing for him as well. Just a nice team to have in the UPL, won't cause any huge upsets, but - good foundations, they actually OWN their squad as opposed to renting players, and it will be nice to see them get a kind draw in Europe.
Chornomorets look atrocious on the other hand. I closed the stream after the own goal, I just couldn't take it anymore...
