preparing for the first CL game this season: we clearly lead the head to head statistics with 4-1-0

97/98 Bayer Leverkusen - RM 1-1
97/98 RM - Bayer Leverkusen 3-0

00/01 Bayer Leverkusen - RM 2-3
00/01 RM - Bayer Leverkusen 5-2

01/02 RM- Bayer Leverkusen 2-1

and they lost to the newly promoted Mainz 05 today with 2-0, but still i warn for them, cause they are in a great form, especially their strikers Franca and Berbatov. I was pretty impressed about their game against Bayern, that they trashed with 4-1 two weeks ago.Today they might have been with the thoughts already at wednesdays game.

just hope we were too today as we played really bad especially in the second half. Ronie wasnt seen whether against germany with brasil, nor against Numancia with us today. Owen and Raul cant score and Moro isnt given enough time :frownani: Against Leverkusen we should really hope Samuel to be back, always with their game against Bayern in mind.

I have no worries about Ronaldo, he didn't get many balls as usuall. Samuel should be back, he have improved and he was suppose to be in the squad atleast today. Hopefully Zidane and Figo could continue there superb form and improve too!
I agree that Ronaldo is not a concern but Raul is another story

thats right, typical of medium size teams.
They have a good season then they sold most of their stars.

Ballack and Lucio are gone same with Ze Roberto.

does anybody know if samuel and woodgate are fit for this match??

If not, I think we'll either draw or lose this match :irritate:

I cant think of a better news than this one !!
I just hope hes really ready, not just patched up and thrown in without being actually fit and all. But, aguess they know what they're doing

Their form has been strange so far. The game is away to a German squad, so i honestly don't mind a draw but feel we have a fair chance to win. Is Samuel playing? :)

From today's Marca:

REPRIMAND OF CHAMPIONS
-Camacho: 20 minutes rasing the voice in Real Madrid's dressing room
-"We have to move!"
-And yesterday he practiced without Raúl in the lineup
