Only 2 days left for the big derby in the Turkish Cup.

Fenerbahce who has dropped 10 points since the winterbreak will face a Galatasary who will come to to SSS with the moral boost of have taken over the league leadership from Fenerbahce.

For Fenerbahce playing GS this soon after a disspointing result in Kayseri can be seen as an advantage. The players wont have enough to time to morn the loss and start doubting themselves and a possible win here would help the players gain confidence and on the other hand send GS away to Trabzon with a loss against their biggest rival.

2,100 policemen will be on duty during the game and 5% of the stadium capacity will be given to GS fans.

The ref for the game hasnt been announced yet but i will get back to you with that when it's decided.

Hoping to see a thrilling game between two teams who are also fighting for the championship tiltle.

I like the fact that we are coming as an underdog for this specific game. I like the fact that our team for the first time in a very long time has to prove they are the best team....something they stopped doing a while ago.

If Fenerbahce plays the way we used to play before the winterbreak i dont see how gs would be able to stop us.

We saw in the game against Samsunspor that gs's defense is just as bad as ours. Letting in 2 goals at home against the worst side of the league at the moment cant be comferting.

First, with all due respect, I don't think Fener was as good in the first half as their record indicated. Also, Samsunspor plays attacking football; if i'm not mistaken they've scored something like 33 goals. And they scored two in SSS. And i wouldn't say Galatasaray is the favourite either after all it is an away fixture

With all due respect Fenerbahce has scored 10 goals against Samsunspor this season... ;)

The strange thing is that all season long and a big part of last season Fenerbahce's defense has been bashed by everyone whereas GS's defense has been praised.....you know the song-tomas "superduo".

One would expect gs to conceede a lot lesser goals than Fenerbahce by just listening to the criticism...

Seems like great fun...:D

GS players and technical staff always does this....talk big before games etc.

I hope that there will be no high tention

Serióusly....D

It's the tension between Fenerbahce and gs that makes this derby one of the best in the world....not the quality of the football. :D

With tention, there is no quality in the football. So I prefer good football than high tension where everybody is fighting and arguing.

You havent seen what for exact?

I havent seen any fights between the players. For the last 5 years or so the tension on the pitch have been very modest to be precise...

That is true, Fener and GS are like buddies. I'm just saying I dont like it when its played with high tension. Last time I remember was when we had Jardel, and it was a 0-0 draw in ASY. That was no good.

Would you like to be more specific about what happened in that game?

No football what so ever. Just pushing and argument by both players. Before the game, the media hyped it up so much, all of Turkey was talking about the match and that got to the players and there was no smooth passing in the game, no team work, no style, no football.

It was our first season without Terim, it was Lucescu first season with Galatsaray. I think Fener became champs that season.

Ok...i dont recall it.

The media has a very big part of making the derby more viloent than it is. I remember the Cup final in the olympics stadium last year. The media was writing so many articles about how violent the game would become and because of that only 17,000 fans came to a 80,000 capacity stadium.

I have never used ipworld....but you should definately buy the game if you have the possibility.

I remember when i didnt have ligtv and bought the derby games thanks to LigTv's internet broadcast. The quality was so bad and the only thing i could see was some squares moving. But the sound was ok and that was enough for me....it costed me 25 dollars to just hear the sound.

I did this in all Fenerbahce - GS games....:D
