CONFIRMED ARRIVALS: Perugia duo- Fabrizio Miccoli and Manuele Blasi

Hmm...the only thing I want to improve 1st and FOREMOST in Juve is our DEFENCE, ASAP!!! We need Legrottaglie (the Chievo defender, whom you forgot his name ) I think he'll make an excellent addition to the squad (is it just me or does he look like Batistuta? the blue eyes and the big lips). Moretti looked like a good prospect, I have no clue as to why we loaned him out! I would say I want Zaccardo, but Birindelli is......OKAY, I guess. I hope he's improved after that experience vs. Figo Montero has got one year left in him, IMO, yet Juve should still go after a solid man in the back like Jaap Stam.

Midfield: First and foremost, I'm not gonna say I want D'alessandro, Pizzarro and Deco.........I WANT MARESCA!!!!!!! The guy is simply brilliant. Of course, he's not better than the 1st three I named, but still, he'll fit in perfectly, in addition to Fiore maybe as I'm hearing lately.

Attack: Don't sell Trez, IMO. Are we forgetting that he started off 2002/03 injured and that he was TOP SCORER in 2001/02?!?!?! Di Vaio is linked to Lazio...so there could be a swap deal involving him and Corradi. What was Italy's B team strike force the other night vs. the N Irish? Miccoli - Corradi. hmmm....I LIKE

that's pretty much it. but my top priority if I were Moggi, get Maresca. He's the next big thing. And I wanna see him with horns on his head like the ones vs. Toro last season

 

Well, I heard that Conte and Ferrara have signed on for an extra year, so they'll both be back. They should be used purely as reserves, though. Juve shouldn't have to rely on Ferrara as much as they did this past year.

Goalies: no changes needed

Defenders: Bring Mexes and Grygera/Zaccardo, and sell Iuliano, Zenoni, and Fresi. I think we need to go for youth since Thuram, Montero, Ferrara, and Pessotto are all over 30...hence I'd rather see a player like Mexes than one like Stam.

Midfielders: Blasi is coming back, and so should Maresca. Other than that, I hope we get Deco. Others have mentioned Stankovic as a possibility, but Cragnotti has said that he is 100% sure of staying. With that in mind, Deco might be the best option for an attacking midfielder right now, and we sorely need another attacking player in our midfield. Other than that, I guess we should finish the deal for Camo, even though he didn't play well towards the end of the season.

Strikers: Salas is out. Miccoli is in. I think we should give Di Vaio another chance, so I would keep everything else as-is.

That gives us:
Goalies: Buffon and Chimenti
Defenders: Thuram, Birindelli, Mexes, Grygera/Zaccardo, Montero, Tudor, Zambrotta with Ferrara and Pessotto in purely reserve roles.
Midfielders: Tacch, Davids, Nedved, Deco, Maresca, Blasi, Camo with Conte in a purely reserve role.
Strikers: DP, Trez, Miccoli, Di Vaio, Zalayeta.

 

The transfer that would make the most sense is Dejan Stankovic or Deco. It's clear to me that Camo's game been studied and picked apart by most Serie A coaches.

Well, I would like to see Legro... emmm... the Chievo guy!! (Damm name!!) in our defence, in our Midfield, we should bring Maresca, I really like the guy, also Blasi, and if the deal with Camo doesn't take place (i'm kind of undecided about him) I will like to see Fiore in Juve...
In Attack, lets see, sell Salas, loan Zalayeta. loan Sculli another year, and maybe will be wise to get Corradi has a backup for Trez...

 

defence:

we need to get some youth back in there. we lack speed at the moment, and our older players dont seem to be up for it anymore. I'd like to see Iuliano and Fresi both move out, and if possible, even Montero who isnt himself anymore and actually looks more of a liability than anything else these days. Iuliano and montero have served juve well, but its time to move on now. Also, Zenoni doesnt seem to making any progress, he is in his mid 20's now, he should play for a team who need him.

To replace Montero, i would buy Stam. he isnt a young player anymore, but ta the age 30, he is still fast, strong and experienced and can give more than montero can. So, by having Stam in the team, and still having the experiecned Ferrara on bench, we still have Tudor and the option of thuram for the centre. However, i would bring in Mexes and Marquez. Marquez has experience at the highest level. So, he is at a very good age to get and i think he would be great. Along with Mexes who is more of a future prospect and is probably the worlds best young defender along with chivu. Grygera would be good for back up on the right. That leaves us with experience and youth in the defence.

Midfield:
Blasi and Maresca are a must for midfield. we need good back ups for tacchinardi and davids and they are perfect. Deco would be great to get as he can take on camoranesi and nedveds role, actually, i'd have him starting instead of camoranesi in midfield. that should be enough for the midfield.

Conte will be on bench, although i feel he isnt needed anymore. Olivera loaned out.

Strikers:

Salas sold and zalayeta either loaned or sold out.

Di Vaio swapped for Corradi as Corradi is a good replacement for trez. Miccoli comes in along with Sculli as 5th striker. If Sculli wants to be loaned again, then maybe Rossini from atalanta is a good option.

K: buffon, chimenti

D: thuram, tudor, stam, mexes, marquez, grygera, ferrara, birindelli, pessotto

M: Tacchinardi, davids, nedved, camoranesi, zambrotta, deco, maresca, blasi, conte

F: Del Piero, Trezeguet, Miccoli, Corradi, Sculli/Rossini

its a large squad, but we need it. i feel that we lost the CL final due to not having good bench players. And come next season, i would love to be able to rest the likes of tacchinardi, del piero, davids and nedved without worrying about losing the game.

i just dont see juve succeeding without making changes.

i mean, in defence, this season, in Serie A, we were okay, but in the CL, we had to sweat every game because we knew that our defenders wouldnt be able to stop a RVN or Raul or Ronaldo. i know in the finals, our defence did well against real and barca, but during the season, we struggled and looked more vlunerable than anything. we need young good defenders, not only one, but maybe two or even three. our defence is old and slow.

For midfield, its great to bring back blasi and maresca, but lets face it, does anyone see Pizarro being great?? i mean, O'Neill and Baiocco were meant to be great as well and they flopped like a bunny's ear!! Its time we spend some cash on a young gun big name like Deco.

and upfront, miccoli and sculli are great to get, but if trezeguet gets injured again, who will replace him? Di Vaio doesnt cut it IMO. We have to bring someone who can replace him.
