“My agent is currently negotiating a wage increase at Inter. I hope Massimo Moratti is as decisive now as when he signed me,” explained the former Ajax man.

“At Juve, they were a lot clearer on certain things. Moggi was removed because we won too much. It was all jealousy. When I arrived at Inter, the first thing I advised Moratti was to bring in Luciano and change their mentality. Luckily, we won anyway…”

The Nerazzurri have repeatedly noted that this Scudetto was the first “clean” title race in many years and that if they had not been damaged by Moggi’s machinations, then there would have been more trophies in their cabinet.

However, former Juventus star Ibrahimovic went against the grain of his teammates and instead says this record-breaking side was inferior to his in Turin.

“They are two great teams, but that Juve had something more. There was a sense of cohesion that still isn’t present at Inter,” he told the newspaper.

“Last year when someone played badly, the other teammates lifted him up. Here it is the opposite – whoever plays below par drags the rest of the squad down with him. Inter are still learning what it takes to be at the top.”

I suggest we create a thread called "The Perdazzurro Portal: Where Dreams are Shattered"

Here we can put all the anti inter stuff without making a mess out of the forum. Dottore, genio or Ize, please step right on it and move this stuff there!

You know we are in for a long long war after all the shit that has happened lately.

Yeah, heavy stuff from Zlatan.
He's too outspoken as I doubt he's creative and dramatic enough to invent statements like "whoever plays below par drags the rest of the squad down with him.". He's simply being honest.
That's enough toruble but he also goes out with an experienced I-know-better attitude and calls Inter lucky and inferior to Juve.

Ibra wants Milan move!
Sunday 27 May, 2007
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has approached Milan to ask for a transfer, hints Carlo Ancelotti. “Nobody would suspect him. If I reveal his name, it’ll be chaos…”

It was no secret that the Rossoneri were close to signing former Juventus man Ibra last summer, but because they had to wait until their Champions League preliminary round was completed to know their strategy, Inter got there first.

Now that he has been a key figure in the Nerazzurri’s Scudetto triumph and Milan are champions of Europe, there are claims he wants to move on.

“Many champions have approached us. They all want us now,” smiled Ancelotti in yesterday’s Press conference.

“That includes one player who is totally above suspicion. If I reveal his name, it’ll be chaos…”

The newspapers this morning all agree on one thing – that man is Inter hero Ibrahimovic.

Already linked with Real Madrid, the real reason for his contract renegotiation problems is a desire to cross the city like Ronaldo, Andrea Pirlo and Clarence Seedorf before him.

The Swede has reportedly asked for a substantial pay increase from the current £4m per season to at least £5.5m.

He also bitterly criticised the club this week, comparing them unfavourably to the disgraced Juventus side led by Luciano Moggi.

Luckily, we won anyway…

“They are two great teams, but that Juve had something more. There was a sense of cohesion that still isn’t present at Inter,” he told ‘Libero’ newspaper.

“Last year when someone played badly, the other teammates lifted him up. Here it is the opposite – whoever plays below par drags the rest of the squad down with him. Inter are still learning what it takes to be at the top.”

This transfer story could bring relations between the two ‘cugini’ to an all-time low. Matters are already extremely tense after the clubs insulted each other at a distance during their trophy celebrations.

ouch

So C4 is saying that all the fuss Ibrahimovic made this last week is because he wants to force a transfer to Milan? Don't know what to say about that.

Well I don't see it happening anyway, I don't think Moratti would ever let Zlatan sign for us and allegedly we have already said no anyway.

I wouldn't take him  He made his choice last summer, let he rot in Inter.

On the other hand, MM might see him as a perfect enforcement for our 8th CL :lick: :lala:

He can buy out his contract.
He can? I thought players could only do that when they have one year left on the contract? I was under the impression that Ibrahimovic has two years left?

Tension at Inter's training ground stops training session

A Few XT Gems

Here are some of the gems which have been dug up from the archive this season. Sit back and relax.

Rather than making any excuses why dont you just admit that MILAN IS SH!T when all the signs are pointing that way?
BFC82 said:
Save that last comment when you actually beat someone significant. Needing 3 hours to score 1 goal against Celtic hardly gets your team out the "shitty" status.
Curva Nord INTER said:
Where's the trophy? Exactly. No trophy for that. Parade around..but when the results are tallied up in May..0 for you...2 for us.
End of story. :finger:
Zanettiforever said:
You are absolutely spot on....but in the mind of milanistas like bono reaching the CL quarterfinals is more of an achievement than winning lo Scudetto. :finger:
ninecats said:
Their team hasn't won a peanut in the last two years and they can't stand that Inter instead has won Five ! Official Trophies instead.
reco said:
LoL!

They're going to win the Champions League like this allright :howler:
TAZZ said:
there wud be nothing better than a long period of Milan shittyness without a a trophy

Give them 20 years or so

I'd laff my @SS off

And!!!!!! They'd probably lose Kaka if they keep this up....HILARIOUS!!
Curva Nord INTER said:
LOL fat chance you guys have in the CL...

Listen up. Let reality hit you like a brick falling on your toe-

You can't even keep it up in Italy. What makes you think you even HAVE A CHANCE against Europe's top dogs?

You don't.

Might as well quit now.
Azzkikr said:
Sure milan has a chance to win the cl, about the same % chance that a meteorite hits San Siro in his head and knocking some sense into it
Reco said:
Stats don't say a thing...

Look at your defence and watch carefully, they say : 'We don't have a ****in' chance!'
Nacka said:
Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Nowadays eliminating Celtic apparently ranks as a huge success. No wonder you guys lost the derby with all the celebrations after that glorious achievement. :googly:
Curva Nord INTER said:
You are a second rate club now. Not worth my time. Last time I'm posting here. Good bye, and good luck for your 4th place spot. Unfortunately, I won't be following such an inferior "title" hunt.
gerraaaaaaaard said:
Lets be nice. They have a shite team, a shite coach, a shit Ronaldo, a shite GM and a shite owner. Lets just say theyve done an incredible job to come out of all that and still be midtable and in the CL quarters. (But this does not take away th e fact that they still smell just as foul)
Zanettiforever said:
what was their claim once again...DNA lol:jester:
BFC82 said:
And so back to reality for those delusional bastards who thought they conquered the world after needing 3 hours worth of football to score 1 goal against Mighty Celtic.

I bet they still will say making it into the quarterfinals is "worth" more than lo scudetto. Ahhh gotta love these clowns:party: :)
Nerazzurri4life said:
As expected by more or less everyone, Milan faltered the moment they faced a decent team. Even if that team missed their captain in addition to their best midfielder.

How about the manner in which Milan bottled it..damn...they're really starting to master the art of choking in style. :proud: :pp
Nerazzurri4life said:
We made the quarterfinals in 05 and 06 smart ass. Get off your high horse already, your crippled team would never have reached this stage had not for a fortunate draw. The whole world acknowledges this but deluded Milan fans.
Nacka said:
I know, CL is special. I remember a few years ago in the final, some team was leading 3-0 at half-time but still managed to lose.

Sounds unbelievable no? But I promise you, it's true.
BFC82 said:
Shut up! I heard about this 1 team who was up 4-1 in the first round and still got knocked!

Crazyyyyyyy:drunk:
Nacka said:
Ah yes! I understand, nothing like a quarterfinal celebration, huh? Been there, done that. Good times!

But maybe a sequel to the Robbed and Mocked series too, no?

UCL > League : TRUE

UCL Quarter or semi final < League Champions
Of course, there is plenty more material where that came from but by the time we looked through it all, Inter might be ready for their next Champions League Final in 42 years time.

what does it say ?? :)

That the tension is rising at Inter. Apparently Cordoba tackled Ibrahimovic aggressively and some harsh words were exchanged and things were so heated up that Crespo had to step in and break those two of.

And it seems that Toldo tackled Materazzi and while Materazzi was laying on the pitch in pain, Toldo ignored him and didn't even apologize. Those two had an argument in the locker room after practice.

According to my online translator at least :pp

#20 ·
It says that tension is high at Inter's training ground where 2 incidents almost degenerated into fights. First between Ibra and Cordoba where Cordoba made a harsh tackle on Ibra who was just coming back from injury. Crespo had to intervene to prevent them from fighting. :lala:

Second incident was between Toldo and Matecazzo where the keeper made a strong challenge on him without apologizing. Yet again, they had to be separated. Tension was so high between the players that Mancini had to stop and cancel the training session. The tension followed up even inside the dressing rooms.

So in perspective, we might have a festa scudettinho a bit tainted, for a tainted scudettinho. :jester:

Only at Inter!!!!!:stuckup::howler: :jester:

Bitter Inter players feeling the effects of Milans CL. I think they must be following Ambrosinis advice. No wonder they are feeling so much pain and bitterness.

Ibrahimovic must be pissed at joining Inter now, coz at Milan there is a chance of winning BOTH serie a and CL, while at Inter, the 42 year wait stigma must be excruciating.

So what? You want to know how many times you guys gave up on your team? How many of you wanted Ancelotti out? Wanted a revolution and now worship the same players and coach?

Want me to show you how many times you guys said that Milan would catch up to Inter in table by the first derby? By December? Yeah that was Galliani. And your point is???
