I tried to keep the list quite concise this time...

Casillas. 6 times best goalkeeper on the planet in the 21th century.

I wouldn't put Buffon ahead of Casillas. To me they are both on the same level, and together clearly ahead of the rest.

Iker will go down not only as one of the best goalkeepers in Real Madrid history, but one of the best players.

Ze - 'last 4 years' is pushing it. Last year, maybe 2. Euro 2012 he was still really good, and also pretty good the following season too.

that is your real madrid bias

Buffon > Casillas

Casillas was amazing, today he is just an ok keeper that can have his butter fingers days. And i do really like him and wish him good. Looks like a good individual :)

The only reason Casillas isn't dominating the World like he did in a unpreceded way since Yashin is the injury. Otherwise who knows how long till Casillas would have been dethroned.

If you want to go and discuss technical level, I think Buffon is better then Cassillas in talent. But at end of this day, when you come to compare careers team titles weigh alot in discussion. And Cassillas just dismantles Buffon in that regard.
2 euro cups, 2 CL, 1 world cup..

So Pedro 4 Ligas + 3 UCL could also dismantle Maradona, Baggio or Ronaldo R9 with zero UCL?

Casillas is (rather was) a fantastic keeper, but Buffon simply was head and shoulders above anyone else all things considered. Remember how Casillas was benched during Champions League last decade, and in the league this time... No one would have benched Buffon.

The composure of Buffon compared to Casillas makes all the difference. Casillas surely was better during some seasons (as were others like Kahn, Cech, Van de Sar, now sveeralof the younger ones), but overall it's a no contest IMO. At least if I was the coach, I'd 100% have my number 1 decided.

IMO Gigi is the best since Schmeichel, and Neuer will be the next one -- and surely Courtois, De Gea and others will have better seasons from time to time, but I believe very few managers would pick them over Neuer in the long run.

At their best, its hard to separate Buffon and Casillas (only Buffon was a bit better in organizing the defense at set pieces which Casillas was not as good)

but one thing for sure, one could not see Buffon in horrendous form like Casillas plus Buffon had longer career in good form

Not if you watch him regurarly, he has been amazing all season.
