Anyone saw the cup game between Alverca and Sporting?
First, lets just say it was one of the best games I saw this season.
Second, lets just say RICARDO QUARESMA. The guy is AMAZING!!! He plays in another dimension!
Like s'one said on the radio, he is the difference between sheer technique and a "brinca-na-areia". He always has the goal in his mind.

Yes, despite missing our top players, I thought SCP played pretty well but Alverca's goaltender played an amazing game!!!!

I was peeved yesterday to find the game wasn't on RTPi. When is the replay? Will it be on RTPi?

 

The Taca games are on SIC...they have been ever since last year.

 

on Infordesporto they said the replay was going to be on the 9th.

 

No, initially it was going to be on the 9th, but they decided to play on the 8th, because on the 12th Sporting will go to the Antas.

The game wasn't that important because now Sporting will play in Alvalade, which will be easier.

Whoever loses, is out of the cup.

 

In countries like Norway and England the cup is extremely important, isn't this the case in Portugal? Why not??

The cup is very important...but I just think the game will be easier for Sporting at Alvalade. That's why I don't think this tie was that bad for them.

 

Yannick was great! Would like to see him play more times so I can make a correct judgment of his value.
