We are going into other Euro-Qualifications. First step will be important, especially at home. Acc.FIFA ranking, Cypriots are currently at place 115.

Midfielders: Peter Hlinka (Rapid Vienna), Dusan Svento (Slavia Prague), Miroslav Karhan (Wolfsburg), Marek Sapara (Rosenborg Trondheim), Marek Mintal (Nuremberg), Matej Krajcik (Slavia Prague), Ivan Hodur (Slovan Liberec)

Forwards: Ivan Lietava (Banska Bystrica), Filip Holosko (Vestel Manisaspor), Robert Vittek (Nuremberg), Filip Sebo (Rangers), Szilard Nemeth (unattached).

Must win this match in order to get off to a good start.

I think it will be a 2-0 victory.

2-0! Mintal!

Svento goes into the box, slips it to Sebo, who finds Mintal, and Marek doesn't hesitate to put it into the net.

3-0! Sebo!

Svento again beats defenders, gives it to Mintal in the box, Mintal shoots low and Sebo deflects it into the empty net.

2nd half is underway. We made two changes:

Holosko for Nemeth
Krajcik for Zabavnik

#12 ·
Cyprus also made 2 changes:

Elia for Michael
Krassas for Garpozis

Crazy turn of events.

First, Cyprus scores a goal, but the referee waves it off for offside. Then, Svento brilliantly sets up the goal by beating defenders and passing the ball delicately back for Sebo, who one-times it into the net with no problems.

5-0!!!! Miroslav Karhan!

Mintal centres the ball, and Karhan rifles a volley into the net, no chance for the goal-keeper.

#16 ·
By the way, this is Karhan's 80th cap for Slovakia, which passes Lubomir Moravcik for the most ever.

Congratulations Miro.

Holosko and Krajcik nicely combined to present Mintal with a good chance, and he took advantage.

Last substitution for us: Sebo and his two goals are off, replaced by Hodur.

Other matches in our group which I am keeping my eyes on:

Czech Republic 0 - 0 Wales (60th minute)

Germany 0 - 0 Ireland (Half-Time)

Czechs scored a fortunate goal after some bad defending by Wales.

#23 ·
6-1. Cyprus scores in the last second.

But still, a fantastic result!
