Capo :groan:

As I said in another thread, I kind of thought we had an unspoken agreement that we wouldn't open this thread.

I predict a 3-0 or 3-1 home win while praying Bologna can somehow take a point against Juve.

That would mean we're likely 2-5 points behind Juve before the San Siro clash.

ummm Tyge, considering Gobbi is one point ahead with one game in hand (potentially 4 pts gap), I think it's a very optimistic projection from you. ;)

as I have said before the derby (that if we continue the poor display we would lose the derby), if we continue like this, we stand no chance against Gobbi when we meet them in Serie A a couple of weeks later.

way too optimistic imo. we would count ourselves if we got any points (yes, any point would do) from Udinese and Juve with this depleted squad and worldclass midfield.

we could be 4 pts down mathematically after this weekends and 7 pts if you take into account the parma-juve game yet to play.

there's a possibility that we would be 6 pts behind and play 1 game more than juve when we meet them in San Siro, and it's not like we are favourite for that game.

johan, abate is rumoured to hv taken a knock before the coppa game.

tyge, i am not going into it game by game as i am really tired of seeing things back to its pre-calciopoli form i.e. the mundane consistency of gobbi and their refs in serie. my take is there will be at least 6 pts between gobbi and us when we meet again so i thought your take was optimistic. just personal opinion, i respect your take and let's drop the issue there.

 at mr. allegri/happy's decision to use El Sha instead of Maxi, the mister finally sees the light.

that's the most decent lineup we can put up given our current resources. sub urby off for maxi lopez at 60th min mark (Seedorf dropping to median and Robi dropping to trequartista) if we need more firepower up front.

let me do a Diav (respect:proud: )here, which i think suits this game perfectly:

:scared:It is an against all odds game for Milan.

:scared:We have 12-13 injured/suspended players, 6 of them key starters (Abbiati, Nesta, VB, Aqui, Boa, Zlatan) in their respective positions, 7 if we take into consideration how good Cassano was playing before he went down, he got 7 assists in 6 games.

:scared:We have not won 3 games in a row and looked out of idea and energy in the process.

:scared:Udinese is a relevation this season, they are merely 3 points behind us, and they are a deadly counter attack team.

:scared:Udinese has a Barca-like record at home this season, 31 pts from 11 games.

:scared:We have an awful away record in Udine in recent seasons, they've got our numbers.

:scared:Almost all our goals this season involved either Cassano or Zlatan, and now both of them are out.

:scared:We were beaten fair and square in San Siro by old whore Gobbo and the morale is rock bottom, whilst Udinese's morale is at their peak as they are having a monstous season.

:scared:We have a mediocre fullback playing in midfield pulling the strings for the N-th consecutive games.

:scared:Thiago picked up a knock in midweek and we could only pray that he won't aggravate the knock in an almost certain defeat in Udine...

:scared:The impressive winning ratio of games whenever Amelia play in goal.

:scared:As Bono, inter alia, rightfully pointed out, El Sha is too young and along with Merkel will not be Milan's future as they ain't good enough. Max Allegri is making a grave mistake by using the green El Sha instead of the Grande Maxi...

:scared:Robi and his tap-ins.

:scared:I can go on and on but one thing is sure, udinese is heavy fav. for the game and we are more than doomed before even starting the game.

:scared:We may as well ask Conte to cut his Milan-is-favourite BS and just present the scudetto to them now. The 2011-12 Scudetto Winner, Gobbentus.

In a nutshell, it is an against all odds up-hill task. There is an almost 100% chance we will get NIL point from the game taking all the above into accounts.

but

believing cost nothing. ;)

this game is a no-brainer loss for Milan. :depress:

nevertheless, against all odds, ;)

we are the Milan, after all. :proud:

Let's fight to defend our color and defend our pride out there. :strong:

FORZA RAGAZZI!

I have NEVER said that about ElSha never put him in one sentence with Merkel etc etc and you are twisting and lying here and you know it

2 of our 3 main players in terms of performances and goals will start. In Thiago Nocerino we trust. El Sha has shown tremendous growth in recent weeks. Without Ibra we are forced to play different in att, which against a 3 man def should cause havoc, esp with Robinho/El Sha movement and Seedorf's passing ability.

Using the bench in this match is a non-factor as it's horrible,

Bono & King get a room. :smileani:

We need another thread for oldies vs youth aka I told you so.

#23 ·
dont think it will work (Seedorf in the hole and Urby not LB), or at least it didnt last few games yet we insist on repeating the same thing hoping for a different outcome...

:D

It's more down to the quick recovery of Abate though, if Ignazio is built like a Aquilani or a Pato, I double we would even have a choice there. From every reports, we didn't "rest" Abate, he suffered a minor knock which sidelined him out for the coppa italia game, luckily he could recover on time for the mighty udine.

Nice to have a pacey defender back against a fast counter team like Udinese. But again, I believe that any point from the game would be simply "against all odds" aka phil collins style.
