grygera-cris-andrade-chiellini
-------------zanetti-------
------almiron--------------

Aspettando Juventus-Livorno

3 points is ALL I care for in this game. Good football, lots of chances and impressiver displays - I care for none of that if it doesn't mean 3 points. We need a good start or questionmarks and doubts will be raised.
Typical capello's mentality :D

Totally agree with u mate .. its all about the 3 points.

That's a nice formation. I wonder if Salihamidzic will start perhaps...I only saw him vs. AC Milan, how was his pre-season?

By the way, dude WTF? Nice avatar :D

Oh, and mcqueen I wanna see you back to posting "must win" one-liners again! :pp

I'm giddy as hell, besides shitty streams (people have gotten used to them, but I dont like it), it has been almost over a whole year since I saw Juve play. Will be very exiting to see Juve on tv again, not to mention a Juve that is this new to me.

A couple or so in streams, otherwise no. 2 of the Serie B ones, and now one in pre-season, thats IT. My passion for football was insanely low last season, been deprived of Juve and all, watched football with indifferent neautrality.

if we start badly then maybe we buy more world class players :nasty:
I'm actually torn on this point. I don't want to see Juve do badly, but this team is nowhere near complete and we did amazingly little with the money we had to spend. I think Livorno is a good test because they are a solid mid-table team. If we do well against them and in the next two matches we'll know a great deal about the team. It would put us in a good position against Roma. If we're losing to the Livornos and Cagliaris of the world, though, Juve is in trouble.

Hahaha, how exciting - imagine we hafta shit our pants throughout the season before every game against the name-wise minnows of the world, praying to wring out a point against Cagliari on Olimpico with a dubious penalty, while 11 vs. 10 for almost an hour :D

Go lads, go!

Good to hear it's all on track, then!

I understand how it is, coz in 2004/05 that season was almost a "blank" one for me...until I discovered the cafe's in this part of the world...and eventually subscribed to cable tv...

The only thing I miss about last season was Didier Deschamps. I'm still quite upset at not seeing him on the bench anymore. The fact that he's a familiar face wearing a Bianconero shirt we used to watch commanding the field every weekend in Calcio...leading the players (some of whom he actually played alongside!) was a very "comforting" site. Like he's "one of us" (uno di noi as they say in Italian).

Anyway, I've gone off topic, this subject is waaaaay behind us.

And now speaking of old memories, Livorno have a certain Diego Tristan in their lineup, remember him from the Super-Depor era? :scared:

Tavano is also one to watch. Shame how in less than one year this guy transformed from rising star, to an overrated flop...

Tristan sucks ass, big time. Tavano a smooth one that can be dangerous.

Btw, further trouble for me in watching the first Juve game, apparently the Madrid derby is at the same time, brothers, father and friends will for sure pick watching that over Juve's game. I'll knock their heads together until they'll yield to my will :pp

F*CK

Today Criscito returned from the U21 with an ankle injury (?) and he is in serious doubt for the Livorno game, 5 days from today.

I'm mean, without him, what "great" defence are we going to play then?
Boumsong? Legro....ttaglie :groan:

Dear God (Dear Secco!)...we seriously need better back-up. :moan:

Noting it down Stephy :howler: Actually reminds me how I once gave some friends ALOT of chilli so they could bugger off and give me lone time with a special chica ;) (may sound cruel, but it was one time thing and they were blind to the obvious signals of "dont cĂłck block" :D).

Hasuni, football viewing is pretty social ritual for us :pp So yeah majority rules, and in this case against me. Can watch it in my own apartment or even in the same household as usual...but where's the fun in that :pp Rather manipulate them to my will :lala:

Sounds bad about Criscito, was one of the main reasons I'm so eager seeing Juve again. But hopefully his injury is very short term (to play the devils advocate, if its not...then that would force us to buy a defender). and hopefully Grygera substitutes for him, I'm NOT looking forward to seeing Boum or especially legro in bianconeri.
