Serie A Week 3:

I know its still early to open a thread but I cant wait for Serie A to start again !!

Udinese were hammered in Udine last week 5-0 by Napoli but a week earlier forced Inter to a 1-1 draw. I don't know which Udinese will appear in the Olimpico but we should be ready and win the 3 points by all means.

Most of our players are busy representing their national teams across Europe and battling for Euro 2008 qualification.

Trezegol didnt play against Italy but is expected to face Scotland in the second match since Henry is suspended.

Iaquinta was also recalled after it was known that Luca Toni wont be able to face Ukraine in Italy's must win second match in the week.

Camoranesi played in the first match but was substituted since he was short in fitness. Del Piero also played but was far from impressive.

I haven't heard of any updates on Nocerino's ankle injury he picked up in the Zaragoza match.

Other Serie A matches in Week 3:

Inter - Catania
Siena - Milan
Reggina - Roma
Fiorentina - Atalanta
Lazio - Empoli

I think all big teams will win their matches so we need to win too :strong: !!

Udinese go on the offensive

The coach of the Friulani is seriously taking into consideration the possibility of playing with a three-man defensive line next weekend.

Udinese have been training and playing some friendly games in the past few days in order to prepare for the continuation of the Serie A season.

Coach Pasquale Marino has been testing out new options and the Friulani's coach seems to have come up with a solution to counter Juventus in the third matchday.

"Against Juventus I might even use the 3-4-3," the former Catania coach confided.

"We shall see in the coming days, as we will have ways and time to try the three-man defense which is systematically protected in turns by a winger when the opponents have the ball possession.

"In football what matter is the attitude, the desire to do and the agonistic malice; if these components are lacking, you go nowhere.

"I have a lot of young players, who are surely inexperienced, but playing with grit they can do well since they are also elements of quality."

D'Agostino Targets Win Against Juventus

The Udinese midfielder is looking forward to face the Old Lady next weekend and is hoping that the Friulani can beat Juventus at the Olimpico stadium in the third matchday of Serie A.

Gaetano D'Agostino spoke about the upcoming match of Udinese which will see the Friulani travelling to Turin to play against Juventus in what should prove to be a difficult encounter for the visitors.

For the former Roma player, Udinese must target the three points even though they go to this game as underdogs.

"They will play for the three points, whereas we shall have to have a great performance and be especially dynamic in moving the ball around," declared Aquilani.

Udinese are coming from a humiliating 5-0 defeat against Napoli, and D'Agostino is hoping that things will improve.

"We must follow what Marino says: if we make mistakes he is the first one to pay and it wouldn't be fair," he said.

"The young players are not to blame for 0-5 against Napoli. We all did mistakes and we all did many."

Yeah, first I was reluctant to see the big serie a games go to a crappy TV4 studio. But now apparently we all can watch the big serie A games in regular tv, and only pretty much Roma games are left in C+. Thats pretty cool.

Cobolli Tells Di Natale To Tranquilise Himself

Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli has congratulated Antonio Di Natale on his Azzurri heroics but ordered the Udinese striker to remain quiet in Sunday’s Serie A game at the Olimpico.

The Stadio Friuli outfit travel to Turin hoping to end La Vecchia Signora’s 100% start to the season. One man who will have a big say in this is Zebrette hitman Antonio Di Natale.

The ex-Empoli man was the hero for La Nazionale in midweek as his two goals helped Italy to a priceless Euro 2008 qualifying victory in the Ukraine.

“I congratulate Antonio on his goals for Italy, but that is enough goals for him for one week,” joked Gigli.

“The match on Sunday is very important for us. We have begun the season in an excellent manner but I will not be calm until we have reached a certain number of points.

“Against Udinese, well, I hope we will win, not only for this game, but also to put us in good shape before the match with Roma next week.”

The Bianconeri travel to the Eternal City next Sunday in what should prove to be a mouth-watering clash with Luciano Spaletti’s men.

Speaking of that, what TV company do you have TV through. I've got Tele2Vision at the moment, and it's really bad. There's interruptions in the picture and the sound all the time, and I've only had it 4-5 months and I'd had to change the card a couple of times already.

I work at Canal Digital myself, but as we can't install another sattelit dish I can't have a subscription through us.

Do you mean cable providers? As in get the canal+ channels and such? Have comhem providing them.

You do have TV4+ and TV4sport in regular tv right? then you can watch la liga and most serie a big games everywhere. C+ is now mostly good for EPL.

Yes, I mean providers. Comhem is good from what I've heard, unlike the crap that is Tele2Vision.

And I know about TV4Sport, TV4 + and Canal+, afterall I work with that shit all day long ;). But here in Kalmar you don't have those in regular TV, we only get 1,2,4 in regular without a subscription with a cable provider.

Woooh, bondehĂĄla? :D The majority of Sweden can get those channels(and the normal rest) on regular tv by just searching for them.
