Serie A has not sold rights to 90% of the global market, not just Singapore.

Can't believe this problem exists in 2024. How incompetent can one be?

I have read though that broadcast will start on Sept 1 in Indonesia (on Bein Sports), which I assume will be similar for the rest of us too in Singapore and Malaysia

One of the more famous Serie A journalist/influencers wrote about this a couple weeks back, saying that Serie A has failed to sell rights to 90% of the global market, and limited games to a few other major markets (UK gets only two games a week or something?).

To be honest, it's my only source for this news.

I try to follow Bein Sports Indonesia on social media because Indonesians care about Serie A (as opposed to Malaysia and maybe Singapore where Serie A is like some dumpster league unfortunately) and read updates from fans who tag the official account.. but haven't seen anything yet....

Anyone has links to where I can download games? It's hard to catch them live anyway so I used to just record it and watch later. Like WTF Serie A why are your games at 3am for me? This NEVER happens for EPL....

Any news on the broadcasting of Serie A matches in other region? Are distributors still having a headlock with the Serie A? I have been checking with beIN sports but they gave a standard replies that talks are still ongoing and will update us if there is any updates. But It's Nov already and still no resolution over this? I checked with Starhub too and they too said that they are waiting for beIN sports for updates.

“We are considering concluding [a sponsorship deal] by the end of this season.”
-Juventus CEO

If the CEO for so called biggest, most well run club in Italy can say their club are ok without a major sponsor for a whole season, who the heck cares about Serie A not having a TV rights agreement with Asia for one season 😂

Utterly mind boggling
