Another must win.

Looks like we will likely field:

16 Kalac
2 Cafu
13 Nesta
4 Kaladze
19 Favalli
8 Gattuso
21 Pirlo
23 Ambrosini
22 Kakà
10 Seedorf
9 Inzaghi

Maybe Pato for Inzaghi.

Let the comments roll in. Forza Milan!

Of course he's nervous. Who wouldn't be in his position? He rarely plays and when he does, everybody and their mother expects to see "petite Zidane" with every touch of the ball. The pressure has to be enormous. Truth is even the great players do ordinary shit most of the time. I'd like to see Gourcuff get a month run in the team and even if he has a bad game he starts again the next time. Its impossible to play well knowing that every misstep could leave you at the end of the bench.

I can sympathise with Yoann's situation too. His cameo yesterday summed him up. He looked uneasy at first on the ball and not the most confident of players, but later on showed his true ability with an accurate cross on to Pato's head. The guy has good technique and the talent to flourish, and his assist yesterday will definitely give him a boost and be favourable in Ancelotti's eyes.

Against Livorno I can see why Carletto would start with Ambrosini over Gourcuff. I'd like to see Max anchor the midfield more so Pirlo can advance down the left side, linking with Kaka and Seedorf. Livorno have similarities to Reggina in the way they both play a 3-man defence with with wingbacks. With three in defence and the wingbacks dropping deep it's a tough system to break down, but we managed well against Reggina and hopefully should be able to do the same again. We'll need to defend better though, and watch out for them on the counter.

It might do him some good to go on loan for a season or half of one, get experience and confidence and then comeback. Regardless, this playing a few minutes every month is not what he needs to flourish.

Questi i convocati di Carlo Ancelotti per domani: Fiori, Kalac, Offredi, Oddo, Bonera, Digao, Favalli, Kaladze, Nesta, Jankulovski, Brocchi, Ambrosini, Gattuso, Gourcuff, Kakà, Pirlo, Seedorf, Gilardino, Inzaghi, Pato, Paloschi.

Giocatori indisponibili: Dida, Emerson, Serginho, Maldini, Ronaldo.

Giocatori non convocati: Cafu, Simic.

Carlo said that Bonera will start on the right, and Janks will start on the bench.

Kaka and Pippo are "fit and dangerous" :D They will start along with Seedorf.

Hope we see Pato start. But in a way its a good move to cool down the hype around him a bit. Thank god Pippo found his Serie A scoring boots.

Ancelotti has already confirmed that Pippo will play from the beginning.

"Filippo Inzaghi giocherà dall'inizio a Livorno come contro la Reggina, con Pato in panchina pronto a subentrare a gara in corso."

El segna semper lù! ;)

[Whinemode=on] Wow they're playing with 5-4-1 so what do we do? We unleash the offensive powers of 4-3-2-1 on them :rollani:[/Whinemode=off]

FORZA MILAN!

We're playing rather well, the team looks rested and fresh. It's just a shame that every time we attack it's 2-3 of us and 6-7 of them :(

Jani this UUsee stream works fine for me:

0-1 PIPPO!!!!!

Seedorf to Kaká who passes across the penalty area for Pippo to tap it in. I'm unsure if it was offside or not though, not good enough stream to see that.

#23 ·
I was close, but no offside. But some complaints, controversy from Livorno in wanting the game to be stopped prior to that sitaution for some player be down.

#28 ·
Bonera better crosser than Oddo confirmed. Great header by Ambrosini as well, to bad it was to central, very close to 0-2 there.

Indeed, its fun seeing Lazio's defence being cut as easily as butter in 30mins :pp This time they cant put all the blame on the keeper like when you won them 5-1, but now their whole defence is funny.

Brickeberg, dont think Pippo was offside.

I'll respond with the usual comment around XT:

Well yeah you're biased!

On a serious note, I'm not so sure as my post seem to indicate. Of course I want it to be onside though so :)

And I'm more impressed by Parma  They are missing like 8-9 players and still they are up one goal away to Reggina.
