We had a thread like this sometime ago and IMO it's important to have one in each forum , becuz there are so many rumours about transfers all the time and we have had many threads about such rumours .

So , Whoever wants to post Transfer news post it in this thread! and make your comments on them in here aswell !

And I think we should make a new thread only if a player officialy joins a new club .

After giving up on Juan Roman Riquelme, Juventus are close to sign Argentinean Marcelo Gallardo, of Monaco.

Monaco's general director Enry Biancheri reveals on calciomercato.com: 'Juventus want the player and we are negotiationg'. Gallardo is another player who has problems with coach Didier Deschamps. Italians Christian Panucci and Marco Simone left after a row with the coach.

As a Lazio fan , I feel a bit sad becuz Gallardo will only make Juve stronger !

But if I take it as an Argie fan (and I think I should) it's WONDERFUL news!! I really hope this is true! Becuz IMO the only thing Gallardo is doing in Monaco is wasting his time and talent and joining Juve would be a great move for him!

VAMOS MARCELO! :star:

From Calciomercato:
-------------------------------------
According to what the newspaper La Nacion (Buenos Aires) published today, Lazio are trying to obstacle Barcelona in signing River Plate talented forward Andres D'Alessandro, 20 years old. Lazio could count on the good relationship with Gustavo Mascardi, the player's agent and also the agent of other players currently with Lazio. Lazio offered $13 millions plus an offer on very young Maxi Lopez, 17 years old. All these evidences make us to understand that Lazio want to transfer Hernan Crespo next season. As Calciomercato.com already said, the player could join Juve or Real, with the black&whites favourite after that "merenegues" in practice target Mallorca powerful striker Luque (even if AS Roma chase him too).

Does this mean more Argentininans in Lazio? ;)

Lazio trying to sign D'Alessandro

In Argentina latest rumors are revealing that Lazio is trying to sign the promising, 20 years old, River Plate striker D'Alessandro. The player's agent, Gustavo Mascardi, is in contact with Lazio.

The Roman club would be ready to spend $13 million for the striker, if Lazio also would have an option for the 17 years old Maxi Lopez.

Lazio is however facing hard competition from the Spanish giants Barcelona, who usually sign many new promising stars from South America.

I read Tevez debuted for Boca's senior team over the weekend. Did you by any chance see him play?
I did watch the match. He was OK, a bit nervous, but a few good moves, especially one that was spoiled by Delgado who was really awful last Sunday. Considering Tévez is only 17 it's a very promising debut.

From Caliomercato:
--------------------------------
Boca Juniors Argentinean star Juan Roman Riquelme, who is linked with a move to both Barcelona and Juventus, will play in Argentine one more year before moving to Europe. Today the player, his agent Marcos Franchi and Boca chairman Mauricio Macri' have reached an agreement. However the Argentinean club have already decided his successor. Earlier Monaco's Marcelo Gallardo (currently linked with Juventus) was expected to join the Boca but the French club's high economical requests let negotiations collapse, now Boca Juniors new target is Newells Old Boys and World Champion Argentine under 20 playmaker Maximiliano Rodriguez, 20.

the calciomercato journalysts are working drunk lately or what.

its obvius that a player like gallardo will never be within bocas economic range. moreover he is a real river fan and he will never wear bocas shirt.
secondly, maxy rodriguez is not a playmeker, so it would be hard for him to do JRR work ;)

No, but considering that Gaitán is playing quite good lately, with Maxi they could pull out a 4-2-2-2 system, with no defined playmaker, two center halfs, and with Maxi on the right and Gaitán on the left.

Have you heard/read what Bianchi is preparing for the match against Bayer MĂĽnich? A 3-3-1-2 with Serna as a libero!!

Can anyone from Argentina conform those Romi rumours mentioned in Calciomercato ?

I simply CANNOT accept Juve not going for him. We have space for him (actually a nice one just behind Del Piero and Trezeguet since Zizou left...) wheras Barca and Milan haven't unless they decide to sell Rui Costa and Rivaldo respectively.
....and I would prefer Riquelme in the long run as both the others are approaching 30.

:)

Ciao.

WEST HAM have made an approach to Rennes in a bid to sign Mario Hector Turdo, although any move is on hold.
The 22-year-old Argentinian attacker is currently sidelined with a knee cartilage problem, although he is due to return in three weeks' time.

Rennes have confirmed that The Hammers have tried to sign the forward on a temporary basis, with general manager Gerard Lefillatre considering the proposal.

As Turdo has not started a game for the club this season, he may be deemed surplus to requirements.

After making his name with Defensores Amstrong, a move to Independiente boosted the South American's profile in 1997.

Two seasons later, the hit-man, who holds an Italian passport, tried his luck in Europe, and he has played in Spain for Las Palmas and Celta Vigo.

Due to his anglo-Italian status, there should be few problems in obtaining a work permit, should Glenn Roeder be successful in his latest transfer raid.

Rennes are likely to agree to the transfer, and it will be up to The Hammers to convince Turdo he is best served by a switch to The Premiership, once he returns to full fitness.

Roeder has been scouring the market for some time, and a striker was not believed to be his top priority, but the need to provide competition for places up front has seen the East Londoners make a move for Turdo.

There may be the prospect that the Rosario-born forward could play on the flank, rather than straight down the middle.

Daniel Passarella, future coach of Parma, is ready working for the club. The first name he wants to join the squad is River Plate's Ariel Ortega, who already played for Parma.

The player explained: 'If Passarella wants me, I would be more than happy to return, even if - to be honesty - my spell in Italy was very negative'.
