Maybe we can consider three aspects in selection and voting.

1) Talent ('wasted' talents that were superior in their abilities can count for more points here)
2) Form/consistency (Marica with the NT scored consistently, horribly inconsistent in club football; Hagi also had bouts of inconsistency especially when he played in Spain).
3) Achievements (more and better records and trophies in better leagues > less records, less trophies, weaker leagues, lack of national competition, etc).

Out of 10 for each, say, and add up points.
So I vote in three categories for each of your players, and that is one final ranking of our teams, and the other looking at teams overall (chemistry, balance, formation, etc).

Any other criteria to consider? Or do you think I should just keep it simple and do a general voting?

We will begin tomorrow at 8:00 AM EST (UTC-5), or in Rumaniac's time 10 AM (UTC-3), I believe. For those of you in Europe, that's 14:00 CET (UTC+1) or 15:00 EET (UTC+2).

Each player will have 4 hours from the previous person's pick to make their choice, but this time requirement is only accounted for between 9:00 and 22:00 of that person's timezone (so people aren't screwed when they have to sleep). If you are particularly busy at some moments, you can send shortlists to someone, probably pele10brazil is good for it. If you have any questions about this format and deadline requirements, ask me or @pele10brazil.

@The Rumaniac has the first pick tomorrow, deadline of 12:00 PM EST (UTC-5), or 14:00 his time. After him is @virgil, who is in Romanian time which means if Rumaniac picks last minute, have four hours from 19:00 to 23:00 in his time. In this case, we allow overlap because he still has most of the time during the 9:00-22:00 to pick. Shortlists can come in useful too, guys.
