Not yet. But they are negotiating about scheduling the match vs. IFK Göteborg at the Nya Ullevi on the 12th of August.

Nya Ullevi? You mean Gamla Ullevi? It's easy to be confused, the people in Göteborg are so special, to but it mildly, that they named the new stadium "Gamla (Old) Ullevi" and the old one kept its name as the "Nya (New) Ullevi".

Yep people, that's what we have to deal with here.

Way to confuse people :D

No, but Milan want it to be at Nya Ullevi as the stadium is bigger than Gamla Ullevi, while IFK Göteborg obviously want to play at home at Gamla Ullevi.

Yeah I just checked, Gamla Ullevi has a capacity of 15000 seats and Nya Ullevi 43000. I can see why Milan wants to play in Nya :D

No matter where they play, I'll try to be there! Göteborg is awesome in the summer anyway.

The old Ulievi or whatever looks really old-fashioned... fly down? Shit, what kind of distance are we talking about? Is train connection that poor in Sweden? In Germany, going to Hamburg from Stuttgart for example is probably as quick with train as it is with plain (counting in earlier arrival for check in, waiting for luggage at the destination, getting into the city from airport etc).

Vanito, that sucks... back to Peru in the summer?

My first Milan match was a friendly, too... Ajax tournament with Pool, Valencia and the Dutchies :pp

Yes, got a grant for summer research in Peru and Brasil. It's probably going to be fun though. I'll be in Rio for a while, so I'll try to catch some games from the Copa de Brasil or something, and I'm actually leaving in less than a week to be able to attend Peru-Colombia in Lima for the qualys.

Still sucks to have Milan playing so close to where I live and miss it.

Wow, sounds cool... Brazil, nice... a country I wish to visit in 2014 ;)

#14 ·
Me too. I'm hoping for another, bigger, "research grant" for then. If things go as planned, I might even be temporarily living there in 2014.

I live a couple of hours from NY actually, but I go relatively often. It definitely would be nice to meet for a big game eventually.

No, but Pitt is my town ;)

They played once in mid 1990s I think. Though they mistakenly thought they were playing in Israel ;)
