Btw we have played 27 matches against Fiorentina in Serie A so far. 9 wins, 9 draws and 9 losses.

 

Other than Roma, it's obvious that we've played much better against the top teams this season. The 1-0 loss in Firenze earlier in the season could have gone either way, we hit the bar twice i think? And Frey was on top form too.

I'm not so bummed out about this game... we seem to relax against tougher opposition, and subsequently play much better. I assume Dessena isn't suspended still so i'd love to see how he and Cigarini would do in the centre of the park... though i wouldn't mind a bit of a fiesty Columbian drug lord in the middle either p

 

if they play a poor match like they did v sienna last weak we can get a result. but without gasba or mimmo it is pointless.

if i see another write up where rossi's only contribution is 'rossi has penalty appeals waved away' i will not be happy.

why does igor not score any more? we need his goals in the run in

 

I agree we need Gasbarroni fit for this one.
I think the best way tonight is to go for it, if we sit back we will lose by two or three, let's throw caution to the wind and see if we can unsettle them defensively.

 

We're missing our best two defenders Gamberini + Ujfalusi, with Potenza out of form, Dainelli continually terrible and unreliable, unpredictable Kroldrup and Pasqual playing as 4th forward, there will be a lot of space and opportunities for your attackers I fear :scared:

Also Toni may not start in this match as he isn't fully fit. Long term injuries are having Gobbi, Donadel and Santana.

No Gasba in there but at least Morfeo is in.Grella also.

 

Even if we lose the next 2 games it isn't over! Chievo will play Lazio and Fiorentina away and play the next game at home against Livorno. I don't see them getting 4 points. That means we will have to win against Cagliari and then we play Cheivo at Bentegodi!

Reggina - Messina

Obviously we want (and should expect) Milan and Lazio to win. But i also hope Reggina absolutely trounce Messina for two reasons. Firstly to make thier goal difference as bad as possible, and secondly, along with us, Reggina have the "easiest" run-in so Chievo are very much the team we need to overtake, and not Reggina. :thumbsup:

With Messina's run-in, i still have my money on this finish to the league:
