Liverpool return to Barclays Premier League action with an Anfield clash against Manchester United on Sunday.

The Reds completed a league double over Alex Ferguson's side last season and will be looking for a similar result when the two teams go head-to-head once again.

Ryan Babel struck a dramatic winner as the Reds came from behind to secure a 2-1 victory over United in front of the Kop last September.

However, there were few better moments for Kopites in 2009-10 than the resounding 4-1 success at Old Trafford in March.

After falling behind to an early Cristiano Ronaldo penalty, Fernando Torres kept his composure to draw the visitors level.

Steven Gerrard's spot-kick edged the Reds in front on the stroke of half-time before memorable second-half strikes from Fabio Aurelio and Andrea Dossena completed the rout.

Liverpool's 7-1 win over United in a Division Two clash in 1895 is their fifth heaviest defeat of all time.

Paul Ince and Michael Owen have represented both Liverpool and United since the inception of the Premier League.

This is what's going to happen.

Utd come to Anfield park ten men behind the ball and play their horrible boring football. Liverpool control play and seem to be on course for a well deserved draw if not win. Then suddenly on the 89th minute, Carragher who's been having a very good game makes a blunder and Owen scoops in to score. Who then runs all the way to the Kop yelling "**** you, you scouse bindipping murderers". His conversion to Manc is then compete.

Anyhow, Gerrard, Torres and Johnson are doubts. So if they don't play, this is the line up i think will start.

Reina
Kelly Carragher Agger Aurelio
Masch Lucas
Kuyt Beni Reira
N'gog

Rooney's apparently a doubt, but i don't believe that. He'll definitely play.

amazingly saw this - "Last season Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres scored 39% of Liverpool's league goals. By comparison, Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo scored 44% of United's". thats plus the fact liverpool scored more goals last year than united and had a better record against top 4, yet still lost the league!!

Babel is good upfront and excellent on the right. Wasted on the left. Any decent manager would have figured that out.

Kelly - Carra - Agger - Insua

-----Masche--Lucas--------

Babel-----Yossi------Aurelio

----------Kuyt-------------

It's clearly the best team we have available, although i'd rather give Pacheco a chance in the hole, move Yossi to the left and play switch Babel and Kuyt. But Rafa won't do either of them.

He'll play Ngog upfront, he might actually waste Babel on the left. Kuyt will be on the right and Yossi in the hole. Johnson will probably play which creates a massive hole at rightback for us. United's leftwinger will have an easy day going forward.

It's entirely likely that he'll rush back at least one of Gerrard and Torres. If he does and they get injured again it'll show that he cares only about himself. Not about the club or the players.
