i know this has nothing to do with milan but this is a sad day. cameroon's player foe died today after playing for his country in the confederations cup in france against colombia. he fell uncouncious during the second half of the match and was rushed to hospital but died because his heart failed to function.

his lyon teammates in the france national team as well as others like henry and gallas were crying when the announcement was made in the other semifinal match (france-turkry).

rest in peace, marc vivien.

I have no words. I felt this udescribable cold when I heard it...
I guess all we can do is give our condolences.:depress:

I just came home and as soon as I heard it, I couldn't believe it and when I realized it it was true, I've had tears in my eyes and cried...:depress: What makes this even more surprising is that Foe is physically probably one of the strongest footballers in the world, like a Desailly or Thuram and yet, he fell today unexplicably.

A very very very sad day for football.

On ne t'oublieras pas Marc Vivien. Que Dieu protège ton ame. :depress::cry:

So so so sad.
I follow Man City and Mark was a great player, very strong.
It just doesn't make any sense...
His autopsy showed nothing abnormal and a stroke has been ruled out.
Yesterday at half-time, his last words were 'Boys, even if it means dying on the pitch, we must win this semi-final'...
Shivers...:( :( :( :( :(

There have been two cases like this recently in Romania:
Catalin Haldan and Stefan Vrabioru. IMO they were both doping cover-ups.

It makes you wonder why a football player, especially one so strong, can drop dead on the field. Foe must have taken hundreds of medical exams in his career. And he played in England so doctors shouldn't be so bad there ...
