I can answer your CSKA question really easy, they sit right at the bottom.

Despite being defending Champions they have only once had an attendance over 10,000 in 19 RPL matches - a whopping 14,000 against Spartak, there was 9,000 fans there from Spartak to thank for the attendance.

CSKA fans are known as the CSKA Barmy Army, they used to average 5600 fans but since Honda left, 1000 Japaneses tourists now flock to Milan and the CSKA Barmy Army is now just 4600.

I've followed Russian football ever since I read Match as a child. The magazine used to publish the league tables of most large footballing nations, and for one reason or another I always followed the fortunes of Dynamo Moscow.

Anyway, I should be in Russia later this year for the first time. However I will not be visiting Moscow, but instead will spend my time in St. Petersburg. Also it will be during the close season.

I was hoping to be able to buy a Dynamo Moscow shirt during my visit, and didn't expect that to be a difficult task despite the fact I'll not be visiting the city. However, a few online searches - though my Russian's elementary - seem to imply this might actually be quite difficult. Naturally there are plenty of big sports shops, but mainly they seem to stock foreign merchandise or Zenit, Spartak and CSKA stuff. Can anybody recommend a shop that specialises in Russian football shirts in the city, please?

No surprise as to the order but the % is clustered closer together than I expected. I read about a poll in Ukraine that had Dynamo with 42 % and Shakhtar with 33%, now compare that with the Russian results. Or Juve having over 40 % in Italy and Utd. the same in England.

No. They have less than 30% and if factors like going to the stadium or buying something of Juventus are included they fall to 20%.

I Think it's not really matter who is number 1 or which team followed by more people, but the team you love and follow - this is what all the football is about. This is why I also opened a blog about my favorite team, seems to be number 13 according to the list jsk4ever01 added - Anzhi Makhachkala. :musik:
