Can't wait for this one.

On the other side we have Inter - Juve... for these kind of games I want the rules of football to be changed so both the teams could somehow lose :D
I am always happy when Juve beats the hell out of Inter, ref or no ref help :lala:

I hope it's a draw ... AND for us it will be difficult against Roma...

Serghino played around 10 minutes but he wasn't impresive so I want this line - up:

Kalac
Oddo-Nesta-Maldini-Kaladze
Emerson-Pirlo-Ambro
Kaka-Seddorf
Gila

PS Gattuso isn't playing at his standards at the moment.

Forza Gattuso
Forza Milan

That's what I'd like to see. The Shakhtar game will hopefully give the team the right lift to go into this game with the right mentality. If we lose this one it wont be disastrous, because Roma can beat anyone, but the players will go into the game believing they can win. We're so unpredictable that making a prediction is a waste of time. Forza Milan!

Inter are playing Palermo this week in Sicily boys, not Juventus. That's the following weekend.

Will be very interested to see this match, after the 5-1 win over Lazio we all expected Milan to continue the momentum, didn't occur, lets see if you will after the Shakthar match. Totti might miss this match as well.

ps. Izecson, who cares mate? its a forum mate ffs.

If there is one team that I seen neutralise Kaka well then it is Roma. They have correctly closed down all the spaces for him in the last meetings we had. I'd be more inclined to believe Seedorf can do something in this game, he is the master of doing something in small spaces.

No Totti would be a big blow for both the game and for Roma. But unlike the Shaktar game I don't fancy us much here.

I am anticipating for a great match Sunday.. How comes its not the evening coverage!!!

Deano, being Roma, its impossible to do it!! :) Especially now, with Spaletti's mentality..

Not really, we play quite defensively in the CL for example. Not exactly 10 men at the back, but pretty close at times. And everybody knows playing an open game against this Milan team is a suicide most of the time, so amore cautious formation and strategy from Spalletti won't be a surprise for me.

Serginho plays 10 minutes for the first time in god knows when and you say he didn't impress? How on earth does one impress with 10 mop up minutes?

Speaking of Serginho; is he even a valid option anymore? I ask because I don't know. I have not seen him play at all for more than a season (except maybe a few minutes very early in the season...not sure). Its been a long time for a guy who is 35-36 and coming back from a back injury. The serginho of 3 years ago was arguably our most dangerous weapon. the runs he made down the left for the cross were unstoppable and he'd learn to track back and play a little defense. Now?

Join the club. None of us really know. Due to his age and the very little match time he's had it's impossible to say. It's all about the legs. He's been at Milan long enough to know his role in the team and has the experience and intelligence to use his ability, but his pace is something that was a big part of his game too and without that we can said goodbye to the old Serginho.

As for Roma's tactics... Spalletti is smart. The Roma midfield can sit and remain solid but on the counter they're lethal. We'll still get chances though, just not a red carpet like we did against Shakhtar.

True; Serginho has to have his pace or he is useless. Its sad when a player like that loses a step because he essentially disappears from relevance. Not like Maldini or even Zidane who slow down a bit but can still make the difference.

Knowing that we dont have Janku and Favalli played most of the Shaktar game ... I though Serg could give us a hand at LB ... BUT he didnt look match fit ... thats all.

Fair enough. I wasn't calling you out or anything, just commenting on how difficult it would be to impress anybody with some meaningless minuntes every few months. I've said teh same about Gourcuff when he never seemed to play at all.

Nonsense. Roma are not exactly defensive, but they do play a counterattack game, you can't have seen them if you haven't noticed. A very effective and quite attractive counterattack scheme.

Sadly this year in too many games we have been much more open (mainly because Mancini covers absolutely no ground this year, Perrotta seems less energetic and Pizarro still hasnt learned to tackle) and so we have been very suspect to the counter, if we werent already. We also suck at corners and so its a chance for Gila (scored 1 against us last year), Ambro and the defenders.

Carson.. Stop opening game threads here!!!
Stop being rude, he has every right to open threads, specially needed ones like this. People tends to overlook Carson's contribution to every forum, when he is actually a very nice and simple guy.

On topic... tough game coming, Roma on their day are a force. When not on their day they completely suck though, and tend to give away games by stupid mistakes. Our finishing must improve badly so that we make the best out of chances finally. Gila looking to gain his form back is a huge thing, his Serie goals are needed more than ever this season.

As I said before, I say it again, I am not arguing with you no matter how hard you try.. Its just not worth it, you proved it many times to me in previous threads, so, have a nice day ;)
