easy game on paper but due all the injuries it could be a tricky encounter, but i think the amantino and the boys could get the job done...and lets hope lazio could get a point in the san siro

Francesco Totti has been ruled out of Roma’s clash with Cagliari on Sunday night and will only begin training on Monday.

"Er Pupone has not played for the Giallorossi since picking up an ankle injury in the Champions League game against Sporting Lisbon on October 23.

He has subsequently missed out on the victories against Milan and Lazio, as well as the consecutive 2-2 away draws with Empoli, and Sporting last night.

According to ‘The Romanista’, the pain from Totti’s injury has now disappeared and he will continue to step up his physiotherapy, pool and gym work, before beginning training on Monday.

Due to the international break for Italy’s crucial Euro 2008 qualifiers against Scotland and the Faroe Islands, Totti would thus have two weeks to get himself fit for the week 13 trip to Genoa on November 24.

Roma currently sit in third place in Serie A, just three points behind league-leaders Inter. The Giallorossi are the top scorers in the league with 25 goals, with Totti second-top individual marksman with seven strikes to his name."

Good to see some players there that is fit again.

Quite a strong bench again with some players returning. I would play that, but if we begin to struggle in midfield, Brighi should enter, but with Tonetto on one side we at least can defend better on that wing (the side Foggia is on).

 

I'm just curious here since I haven't caught Roma much this season; how many times has Antunes seen action, if any, this season?

 

Antunes hasn´t played one minute of football. When asked about him, Spalletti said, he´s one of the players that I think is happy just to train with AS Roma. It remains to be seen if he will be played in the domestic cup. I´m not to convinced though.

 

Its hard to predict when Antunes will get time. Spalletti uses Tonetto, Cassetti and i think Panucci at LB.

I read on RA that Tonetto will not play and Mexes is doubtful.

 

I'd like to see more of Esposito

Brighi instead of perrotta. And Pizarro moves up front into perrotta position I guess.
