The comparison of twice couple of equal wingers.

Littbarski and B.laudrup is very similar in both term of position that they could play as second striker and right-winger. They also are believed to win World-Class and International-Class in the closed number. Littbarski was rated by kicker in 1.5 Word-Class and 5.5 International-Class. B.Laudrup should win World-Class in the 1996 - 1997 season with Rangers as well. He was rated by kicker in three International-Class during his career at Bayern Munich and he should also reach that class once season at Fiorentina and the 1994 - 1995 Scottish league with Rangers. B.Laudrup was very credited for his performance in the 1992 Euro while Litti is also rated by kicker in World-Class in the 1982 FIFA World Cup.

Beckham is by far better than Pires in individual awards but he is known as being overrated by his personal characteristic. Pires also won the 2002 FWA Footballer of The Year. In my skill rating "Importance Skill for Football Role", They are considered in equal skill level. Beckham was lack of dribbling ability and it is compensated by his creativity and crossing but it is still limited for his left-foot and he was not good to cut inside.

Two interesting match-ups.

My knee-jerk reaction is Pires over Becks.

I had crazy love for Brian in the NT - much more so than for Michael (I wasn't old enough for the '86 team), but it's always hard to compare a big fish in a small pond to a medium fish in a big pond (West Germany). Tbf, Litti probably did better overall, Brian hiding in Scotland all those years. Then of course the German stayed in Köln most of his career.

No, cam voted for everyone because he has a compulsive need to do that in every poll that gives him the option.

Beckham v. Pires

People might be a tad surprised that I might vote against Beckham because he's an English footballer. But, to be fair to "Becks", he was really much more of a wide MF or an "RM" (IMHO): players like Ryan Giggs lined-up much like "card-carrying" or out-&-out wingers in the United teams of that era.
