With both Real Madrid and Barcelona having been qualified to the champions league quarter-finals, their focus shifts to Sunday’s El Classico match where the two teams will fight it out to regain supremacy in the league.

For Real Madrid, it will be an under pressure game as they lead the points table and they would certainly like to avenge for the loss in the November 2013, when the two sides met in the league. However for Barcelona, it would be much more and they would like to beat the home side to remain in the title hunt for this season.

But the Los Blancos record this season at home has been phenomenal as the host have lost just a single match at home and with the supports backing Barcelona would find it difficult to secure a win.

The match will be an interesting contest between two contemporary best in the game of football,

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 41 goals this season in the top flight competitions this season and has contributed the team with 10 assists as well. While, Lionel Messi has scored 26 goals in his injury-hit campaign this season.

In the last match against Osasuna, Messi scored a hat-trick which suggests he is gearing to perform well against Real Madrid and see his team to a win. With that hat-trick against Osasuna, Messi became the all-time leading goal scorer for Barcelona with 371 goals, breaking the clubs record previously held by Paulino Alcantara.

Cristiano Ronaldo on the other hand, has scored 9 goals in his last six appearances for Real Madrid which is a healthy sign for the home team before the match.

Real Madrid last match was against FC Schalke 04 in the Champions league round of 16 which the Los Blancos won with an astonishing aggregate of 9-2 to qualify for the quarter finals in the competition.

"We hope we can play a great game," "We know it will be difficult, but we will do all we can to fight for the league title until the very end." Messi’s opinion about Sunday’s el classic clash.

"We have to take things step by step, We had a very good group stage, scoring a lot of goals while accumulating points. "Let's see who we get next but I see the team doing well at the moment and, one step at a time, we will try to achieve our objective of winning three competitions." Said the Portuguese skipper Cristiano Ronaldo.

Record-signing Gareth Bale has also impressive with his short career so far at Santiago Bernabeu. He has scored 14 goals and has provided 14 assists to his team mates in 27 appearances. His stay at Real Madrid has been marked with series of injuries but seems to be fit and fine and has been able to take the centre stage along with Ronaldo.

"I am enjoying my game," he said. "We are playing well, with a lot of confidence, and are on a good run. We're coming to a decisive part of the season and we have to keep it going.

"Barcelona is a direct rival and we will try to play a good match and get the three points.

"They have very good players but we are focused on our game and on our team because we also have very good players." Said the former Tottenham player.

For Real Madrid Arbeloa , Sami Khedira, jese and Karim Benzema are all set to miss the match due to their respective injuries. Barcelona is expected to field the same team which won against Osasuna.

Real Madrid have won 22 games out of 28 games played so far in the competition with 4 draws and 2 losses. While Barcelona has won 21 games out of 28 played with 3 draws and 4 losses.

Winning this game is extremely important. We need that 7 points gap as we have difficult away games to Sociedad and Sevilla.

I still believe Atletico will run out of gas soon. Diego Costa's form already deteriorated significantly since beginning of the year. The quarter final legs against Barcelona will probably be the starting point.

Really expecting a big game from Bale and Benzema. Benzema generally plays very well against Barca already but he's never been in this sort of form and full of this confidence since he's gotten here. Bale will like to shut the detractors up, I just hope he doesn't get too greedy in certain situations.

We lost the first game against them because a poor first half, weird lineup and Benz wasn't starting. Second half + Benzema, I thought we were the superior team just unlucky.

Unlike the last game, we now have Xabi back, Modric and Di Maria whom have been monstrous this season. Pepe and Ramos have been outstanding in 2014. Carvajal and Marcelo are going to be the make or breakers IMO. If they play well, we will win. If they leave a lot of space and lose the ball easily, we will be in a lot of trouble.

God I can't wait for this ****ing game!!

Okay, so I happened to move to my own apartment and build myself my own computer, so I have lost my bookmarks in the process.

Do any of you guys happen to know the site with all the football streams?

I were supposed to go out to watch but plans have changed, so I'm limited to a stream for this very important match.
