Week 33 is time to face the semi rejuvenated Atletico in the Madrid Derby. However we had a very convincing win in the first leg but Atleti offers something different since the arrival of Diego Simeone .

as it was calculated out of 8 games remained till end of the season , we were allowed to lose one and draw once and win the rest of the fixtures. Well we already drew Valencia and we have no choice other than winning 6 out of 7 matches left or at least beat barca at the Camp Nou. other than this then we better say good bye to the league trophy or hope for barca to drop points .

We are Madrid

We love Madrid

We never leave our boys alone

so gay the last part of the first post, you are going down to chinatown.

...this is the time you've better used that line...fuera de joda, "We never leave our boys alone" parece el titulo de un tema de los Pet Shop Boys o Locomia...

4-2-3-1 formation is best suited for the players we have, playing any other formation, will not guarantee better results. The team is 4 points ahead in la liga, through to the semi's of the CL, and we've played our best football with this formation, why fix something when it's not broken?

My selection for this match

Casillas
Arbeloa - Ramos - Varane - Coentrao
Khedira - Alonso
Di Maria - Kaka - Ronaldo
Benzema

You misspelled Pepe.

Lass and Carvalho were injured and there are rumors both are done with Mourinho. AS had an article about it on Saturday.

#19 ·
..and this is exactly why Atlético's players should go all in and kick the crap out of the Madrid-players. Just to get that arrogance out of them.

Last 8 encounters (Real Madrid 8W, Atletico Madrid 0W, Draw 0):

Real Madrid 4 Atlético Madrid 1
Atlético Madrid 1 Real Madrid 2
Atletico Madrid 0 Real Madrid 1
Real Madrid 3 Atletico Madrid 1
Real Madrid 2 Atlético Madrid 0
Atlético Madrid 2 Real Madrid 3
Real Madrid 3 Atlético Madrid 2
Atlético Madrid 1 Real Madrid 2

I think this is the most 1-sided derbi in the world.

8 encounters? Keep going.

They haven't beat us in 13 years.

Yes, Dagoods wants to see us having 70% ball possession and 25+ dives...

i dont know but i see nothing SMOOTH playing at San Mames, Bilbao is a VERY hard team to beat, we also have Sevilla that could give us some problems. but San Mames is the HARDEST games after Barca.

#24 ·
This and San Mames are toughest after Barca. We need to win those two. Sevilla play open football under Michel so we'll get enough chances against them at the Bernabeu. Barca also have Betis, Levante, Rayo away and Espanyol, Malaga at home. So our schedule becomes much easier if we can beat Atletico and Bilbao. Our other away game is at Granada, then Sporting and Mallorca at home.

Lol

Back to Fifa or PES.

Barca played the same formation and failed to score at Villarreal. ;)

Valencia were bypassing the midfield easily sending diagonal balls as soon as they got the possession and releasing the pressure there by. So we might have conceded a few with 3 at the back. We just failed to finish off the numerous chances we created.

If we fancy winning the league, this will give us the best chance. Lock out barca and play for a draw at least, and sneak in a goal for the win at best. Too dangerous having just the 1 point if we play an open game and lose.

As for atletico, I don't think we are in real danger here, we haven't been playing particularly bad, we just haven't been getting the results.. Start with kaka instead of ozil and we should be alright.

#32 ·
I dont like the odds on this one - Atleti is due for a win at some point and Falcao really worries me...

#33 ·
Good thing Falcao missed training today. He has the flu.

#34 ·
I wont believe it until they line up to kick the ball ...

#38 ·
OK it is now or never guys!
Are we really better than those cretins or not?
It is time to put up or shut up!
