I know there's a midweek game against Shakhtar but seriously who cares? this is THE game.

3rd and most important part of the Tourmalet ascension. We're going through our best moment of the season with convincing victories against direct rivals but this game is special. Form doesn't count in this game as much as it does in other games as it's been proven way too many times in past encounters.

The fact that this is a unique chance to extend the lead to 9 points ( assuming they beat Sevilla tomorrow) coupled with the fact that we haven't beaten these scumbags since Ronaldinho's heroics at the Bernabeu should be enough motivation for the players to go out all guns blazing. We should win this game at ALL costs.

Probable line-up:
Valdes
Alves--Marquez-Puyol-Abidal
Touré
Xavi----------Busquets
Mess------------------Henry
Eto'o

We haven't won against Them in 4 matches. That is just unacceptable.

They have various internal problems. They've had a couple of bad results in recent weeks. They are missing several quality players. Frankly, there is no excuse for losing this match. In fact, a single goal win would be a bit disappointing. I can't remember a better time for us to face them. The players better not slack off even for a single minute of this match. I assume though that having Pep as coach will mean that everyone will be 100% sharp and desperate to do well in this match.

some assholes in Madrid forum is willing to accept 5:0 defeat but hoping Xavi & Messi break legs. I really hope Ramos get suspended tonite and even better so they have to send retirement like Salgado & Cana against us and the bigger the score line the more i enjoy it

Ah, **** him! Just another classless sore loser. Actually it's kind of sad and pathetic at the same time that he's willing to accept defeat and wish harm on the other team when the game is a week away and haven't even started yet!

I don't know if Pep will go with Busquets as a starter in a big game like el Clasico. I can see Keita or even Guddy starting since he had a couple good games lately. We might see Iniesta getting some playing time off the bench if healthy since he's recovering on time.

This is the game where form is thrown out the window. I seriously can't remember when was the last time I saw a heated classico on the pitch. The crowd is always up for it, but in the last couple of seasons the players, from both sides, have not lived up to the expectations. I want to see gladiators, not footballers. I want to see spitting, not hand shaking and hugging. I want 'botifaras' and 'black power' salutes.

As I said form has nothing to do with it. Our players must be careful, and take Madrid seriously. This game is about everything but football. History, culture, language, colors...the players must play for that, and not for 'just another 3 points'. If they don't get this, I don't want the win.

I won't exept a 2-0 win against this ****ed up Madrid side. Like I sai a couple of weeks back, if we happen to be leading by 3-0 in halftime, DON'T SPARE THEM NOTHING, kill them off with 6-0 in the end!!!!!

We even spared Valencia in the second half and took it very easy on them, these assholes don't have that luxary. I wan't the result to end up in the record books if we happen to take an early lead.

ok boys tell me what you think

Redhat said:
im willing to have an avatar bet with the cules. but not winning or losing because we all think we're gonna lose so we dont bet on odds of 1.11 and we're at like 5.5 or something.

if you guys i want how about a goal margin bet? so if you beat us by more than 2 goals we'll put the avatar of your liking. so 3goals or more really, which is possible as we beat you 4-1 last season, and you did beat us 3-0 a season before that.

so 3 goals or more, or we can make it 2 goals or more if you dont think you will beat us by 2.

cules?
head on over to our forum to discuss terms and conditions.

No Red-Hat,I dont want to buy any Jinx,;et us keep it objective. But let it be different, choose avtars which tell the real story and not just some humiliaing picture.

I mean, let it be a simple bet and choose 2 avtars which are funny and not so shameful to wear.

8 players have been rested for this game (Alves, Marquez, Puyi, Toure, Xavi, Messiah, Henry and Valdez), so most probably they will slot into the starting eleven for the classico. Pep might bench Eto'o and Abidal in mid week game, but called on them just in case. The same problem is going to be who is going to partner Xavi in midfield, many options available: Guddy and Keita could get the upper hand because of age and experience.

If the team manages to control the game and possession as they did against Valencia I doubt Madrid or any team in Europe will be able to stop Barca this season. Complacency and over confidence are going to cause Barca to drop some points, if Pep manages to keep the players focused then that will not be a problem.

We need to slay them for the good of mankind.

There are big things at stake here.

If we win this one with class, I can't see nothing stopping this team from entering the hall of fame.

But to be honest i've got a bad feeling

Only thing that I'll change is Busquets for Keita. And then after 60 minutes bring in Busquets or Guddy. We definitely need a physical presence in the beginning and Keita does it better than Busquets. Also Busquets is fairly new compared to Keita in a pressure cooker atmosphere. Experience will help in dealing with the situation.

Expecting a great game!

Prediction: 2-0 for Barca

There is one thing to fear in this Real team, and that's their "never die" spirit....but other than that nothing!! They complelty SUCK ASS at everything else, they are sporadic in attack, don't have a clue on how to deffend and even worse, they look absolutly lost with the ball, they don't know how spread the ball around and how to distribute it to whom and when. They are so bad in defence that I think that if Messi was on the field for Sevilla tonight he would have done 12 "Maradona solo goals".

If we don't beat them now, then we'll never do it.

But their fighting spirit is immence (not in the first half though :D), I'm 150 % sure that Pep won't understimate these pigs and that the team will crave blood for last seasons pasillo and homedefeat. I'm 150 % sure that we'll see blood swett and tears from our boys, but I can't say if we'll win or not....I can however say this, there is
A-B-S-O-L-U-T-L-Y no excuse not to win this match!!!!!!
