Because Raul Bravo is awful.

I'd much rather put Torres left back and make the adjusmtment with Ramos/Salgado whoever.

I don't think Carlos has been HORRIBLE (indeed that lapse today was inexcuseable but he has been having a good season). And we've already witnessed that whoever plays defence for Real Madrid sucks. Be it Samuel, Canna or God himself.

 

our backline is not really a problem. ramos and helguera at CB is fine. marcelo and torres as fullbacks is fine as well. its who's infront of them. this is usually a cufuffle of players who are lost in Capello mayhem. they dont know what theyre doing on the pitch, sometimes theyre in a vegitative state we dont know. gago-de la red or gago-diarra should be our choice CMs. then its about whos playing ahead of them. 2 CMs is more than enough especially when raul likes to come back into the centre.

Your defence was awful Vs Bayern, see how many thru passes they made even before the half line.. To say Helguera with Ramos were fine is a joke.. Imagine Podolski, Makaay and Bommel scoring from these 3 clear chances, would you still have said our defence was fine?

Btw guys, I'm stunned today by reading that Capello said Oliver Kahn have made more saves than Casillas did!!! Which game was he watching!!
