Now that we're out of the CL let's put all our efforts on the domestic league.

All eyes will be on Camp Nou this weekend for what is quite simply the biggest show on Earth. Nationalism, civil war, conspiracy theories, bitterly contested transfers and trophies have all fuelled what is the greatest rivalry in World Football, and morbo in all it's glory will be captured this weekend in 90 minutes of mayhem.

Barcelona will look to make up for the CL eliminiation by regaining their throne in the league at the expense of their arch-rivals.

Zambrotta and Giuly are both suspended after being sent off last week-end against new leaders Sevilla.
It probably means that Gio will directly replace Zambrotta if Rijkaard opts for his usual 4-3-3 however it is very plausible to see himcontinuing with his new 3-4-3 formation with Thuram,Oleguer and Puyol forming the 3 men defense and fielding all the midfielders at his disposal at the same time.

Real Madrid will miss Beckham's and Reyes' services after losing both players to knee injuries while Diarra and Guti are back after serving their one match suspension.Emerson will also be available since he's able to participate on away games.

SOM-HI NOIS!:fero:

FC BARCELONA XI
-------------Valdes---------
Oleguer-Thuram---Puyol--Gio
----------Marquez---------
Xavi-----------Deco
Messi---------------Ronaldinho
------------Eto'o------------

Time and Venue:
LFP| Saturday, 10 Mar, FCB-R. Madrid (22:00) CET | Camp Nou

Good thing that this is the match after the CL defeat.

We will definitely be motivated for this. Onwards and upwards.:strong:

Regain our throne? guys I hope we demolish madrid, but let's be frank here, we are not going to be in first after this weekend, Sevilla is playing Nastic.

Whatever, lets just regain our pride, lets prove that we are still the best team, I want 3-0, and we can do it!

Nice way to cure the CL wound.

4-3-3 would be better because Robinho will enjoy the space opened with 3 defenders. He'll widen them up and make space for RvN and Gonzo H.

Since Beckham and Reyes are out, there's no need to panic for the set pieces. I prefer Motta to kick Guti's butt in the first 45 mins, because he must be neutralized and pissed off.

Lets win this game.

I expect a demolishion, nothing less. :fero:

Well I suppose a 1-0 win would also do the job but I prefer to humiliate them and gain a nice morale boost.

We still have a few tricky matches coming up (Recre, Depor, and Zaragoza) but after that our schedule gets lighter and we can get a grip of La Liga. What's certain is that we can't drop anymore stupid points like we have been doing recently.

this game is the biggest of our season, and we can't just stand and look behind us and say we did this and did that, and this wasn't ok, and that didn't work.

to be honest, I'm so happy we out of CL now, and there is nothing to think about in weekends, its La Liga and Copa Del Rey, there is our main trophies that must be back in Camp Nou comes next May!

we'll be welcoming our arch rivales and they'll be in what mode after tonight clash with Bayern Munchin.

4-3-3 with Sylvinho this time over Gio, while Zambrotta is suspended, Giuly, I don't want to see Ronaldinho in CF anymore, he loses a lot of his dangerous runs and his not helping the attack at all with his back to the goal, Eto'o starts is something I want I know he is the main man to kill Real Madrid, but if by 60 minute he didn't do nothing, I think Saviola should come in, or Guddy.

I want Iniesta to start as AM over Deco, because he is more creative and Deco seems way out of his best, he's slow, losing a lot of pass's and shows the un-ready mentality when he's in the last third of the pitch.

anyway, I want a win here, and nothing less than 3 goals :fero:

VISCA EL BARCA i VISCA CATALUNYA :fero:  :proud:

Inter-AC Milan, Celtic-Rangers, Lyon-Marseille, Bayern-Werder, Barça-Real...

...don't disturb me this weekend, I'll bite. :fero:

Ha ha, second that!

Giuly over messi for this match, messi better comin off the bench till hes fully match ready

after watchin eto'o's performance, even thou he was played out of position most of the time, i think its better to start saviola, and bring eto'o in off the bench too

thuram playin well cant drop him, so marquez moves to DM, or better yet drop him play motta, might waken marquez up a bit

iniesta must start, and xavi, deco must be dropped if rijkaard plays the 4-3-3, if not and opts for the 3-4-3 play similar lineup as the liverpool one, still not 100% certain over marquez but, nor oleguer for that matter, but not too many options

but in the end, we will most likely revert to the 4-3-3 wit both deco and marquez playin, as well as eto'o and messi, back to the old team wit iniesta stuck on the bench! shame that

the important thing right now is to concentrate on achieving anything with a stupid manager like Rijkaard so it will be great to demolish madrid despite they are not in their best state, anyway barca is barca whatever happen

you will win.don't worry.................capello is probably going to have a 4-5-1 formation, which suits you just fine.no threat from counter-attacks and Canna-Helguera in the backline.can you ask for more?

Capello won't do that, he's not that stupid.

He knows we need to win this game to close the gap to two points, no way will we play with an ultra-defensive team.

Casillas; Sergio Ramos, Cannavaro, Helguera, R.Carlos; Diarra, Gago; Raul, Guti, Robinho; v.Nistelrooy.

That will be our most likely line-up.

Ok we get the message, you are not a fan of Rijkaard, Fine, no need to keep saying it, Rijkaard may not be the best tactically but his managemnet ofthe players is topclass, we as Barca fans owe him a lot, What would you prefer crapello and his anti-football methods?

anyways, to this match we need to bounce back and crush madrill, they are playing crap but yet are still in reach of BARCA. Now is the time to bury them.

VISCA BARCA!!!

Saturday night will be great when we will end Madrid's season.

No doubt we will revert back to the 4-3-3

Valdes, Gio, Puyol, Thuram, Oleguer, Marquez, Xavi, Deco, Ronaldinho,Eto'o and Messi would be my lineup.

After going out of the champions league the way they did, what better way to get over the blues by thumping your biggest rivals, and no doubt we will give them one big throbbing spanking.

No words needed, just looking at the rivals should make the team hungry for a out-class performance. Theres no two ways about it, we have to win and win in style to show the world that the Dream Team 2 still lives in the Nou Camp. This is not over guys, lets get behind the team.

Bench Deco's sexy ASS.

The King of the Crackers must play. One of the few players who has been pretty much great all season.

p.s, in case you don't know black insults for white guys, cracker is a white guy. :D

From what I've seen of RM tonight I think we should pray for Carlos to be in the starting lineup. We've got to alarm Stephen Hawking and NASA because this man is capable of producing empty space behind him! I hope that Messi have some astronautic affinity.

Whodunit? inspired me with his claim that Makaay could drive a truck through their defence :D I would add Vinny's words in Snatch: "You could land a jumbo fvcking jet in that!"
