Primera Liga Temporada - 2007/2008 [Jornada 15]

Next Saturday, Real Madrid travel to País Vasco to enter the stadium known as La Catedral (The Cathedral) of La Liga - the oldest stadium in Spain. This is one of the classic matches of Spanish Football, brewing with morbo as a result of the History and tradition behind the two teams. Up until the Spanish civil war in 1936, Athletic were the most successful team in Spain with four titles since competition began in 1928. Athletic and Real Madrid are two of only three teams which have never been relegated.
Joaquín Caparrós is slowly working his magic with limited resources, and his team will be coming into this match on the back of a thumping 0-3 win at struggling Valencia.
Real Madrid come into this game in confident mood after we stretched our lead at the top of the tree to four points, so regardless of what happens here we can not be displaced from the top for at least another week. Guti.HAZ returns after serving a one-match ban, while Heinze has recovered from his injury.
