HUHU, where were you last year? Are you the man in the moon?

4 defeats out of the last 5 matches against us. We have every right in the world...
Yeah yeah yeah, the 3rd and 4th ones mattered most and on aggregate YOU LOST. We havent played the sixth game yet!

With all due respect, my dear Bayern fans, but I would like to see some arguments about this.Maybe your coward tactics doesn't suit us well, but that's another thing.
Still I feel you maybe deserved 1 CL for your efforts in last 2 years.Based only on this season I don't think you deserved it.

This is crazy,Didn't you guys learn your lesson in '99?Then,even I ws supporting you.
The second leg's still to come, you CANNOT count us out,I'm tellin ya.And you are very foolish in counting the the group phase games friom last yr.Remember,Real hadn't started playing until thye got to the QFs,more particularly Old Trafford. You beat us when we sucked, when anybody and everybody was beating us.
And anyway, this team is completely different to the one last yr.I knoe there were 7 survivors, but virtually everyone is playing in a different role tactically.

Don't waste your time with spiteful losers like the super**** character (intentional ***'s in order not to get banned yet).
Dude, what can I say? If you argue about Bayern being superior with last night's performance as evidence, you're probably into American football and you haven't perceived yet that you're commenting on another sport.

I hope you won't disappear in good time... although I believe that you will. Crawl back into your nest now.

I totally agree with you Hala
All Bayern did was defend-they got a lucky goal and then defended some more. This was very ugly to watch. We attacked and got nowhere.
I think they were lucky on the night. Thats all.
So now any side that beats us is better than us? I dont think so.
Just remember how many European and CL cups we have-I think this makes our opponents envious!!!!!!

yeah, although I was disappointed about the match, deep down I still hope the best for Real & there's still another match next week, so nobody knows! If Bayern played well this time, Ok, & Real can learn their lesson from this. But now, let's look to next week...

GO REAL!

Bayern played well?

BAYERN PLAYED WELL???????????? :wth: :wth: :wth:
MY A*SS THEY PLAYED WELL!!!!!!!! :frustrat: :frustrat: :frustrat:

If Bayern hadn't Kahn and Anderson on such a demonic day I'd tell you where they'd be right now... :

They couldn't even pass the middle of the pitch!!!!

*** Elber scored a goal from a blind volley he didn't believe himself it'd ever go near the goalposts!!!!!! :frustrat:
*** Kahn was wasting time from the 1st 5 mins of the 1st half!!! :frustrat:
And I won't start on those *** laying down the pitch on each and every occasion!!!!!

Bayern played well?!?!?! Who played well? Effenberg? Scholl? Jeremies?

***********

Well, the only good thing is no more Effenberg next game.
Face it, we don't have a breakout, last year was lucky 'cos Anelka flashed somehow (though I still dislike him). Real is the better side this year but if we can't tear down Bayern's defence, it still means nothing! I admit Bayern has always been a tough opponent for us (even when we are in good shape):depress:.

I am in blue anyway:(....just keep my fingers cross....

Hiding behind the number of European titles you won... oh my god...

No one denies that Real was the power to be in the early times of the European competitions... no one denies that they were/are great in the late nineties... no one denies that they are currently still a great squad (though I would not call them the best of the world like some do, since the class difference on the very top is too close)...

But unfortunately, not of all their fans share this greatness and class...hiding behind the number of titles won in the past... hilarious. This would be like Brazilians saying after the final in 1998 in Paris "Who cares that we lost, we have won 4 WC titles, the Frenchs now just one, we are better than them"...

Seems losses are sometimes necessary to reveal the whole character of people and how far their sportsmanship goes, huh, Trio? Very weak performance, very weak...

So Psycho you think those Frenchies actually deserved that damned trophy? Take care, they have brainwashed you and turned you into a frog;).

We didn't hide behind the titles and numb ourselves with fantasies, the fact is that Real just play better looking football than Bayern! Though it's not always been efficient...

hala dear, don't get all upset. I thought Bayern played well, but you didn't, so cool it... at least not all those angry smilies... :)

anyway, I certainly didn't think Real played well... and Kahn was really very good. Real's sustained pressure throughout the match didn't make him turn a hair...

OK, I'm just trying to be objective... But Psycho, to say we're hiding behind the number of titles won... I don't get what you're trying to say... Explain, please?

Oh, poor you... Bayern were stupid! :crybaby: Bayern were cowards! :crybaby: I really feel for you. (Not!) Do you mean that it shouldn't be allowed to play to the best of your abilities against Real? That they should be forced to go all out attack so that the crowd at the Bernabeu could get their well deserved entertaining? Please...

No, football is ALL about winning. That's the only way to make it a real sport and just not another entertainment show. If you don't like it, well. Why not go for the NBA or something? ;)

It wasn't directed at you Jun-Lei, it was more a general thing for all of you... :)

You Real Madrid fans went on and on about Bayern being cowards and how they "just" defended. Apparently it was the best tactics of the night. And that is what counts if you like football to stay a sport and not only be some television entertainment...

Then I'm sorry for being sarcastic but I just love it when "unbeatable" clubs fail. To me that's a welcome sign that money and hype isn't everything...

@Jun-Lei... this is what I meant... for me it looks the way someone is using the number of titles Real won in the past as an argument that Real is still the better team though they lost... that's an idiotic argumentation IMO...

@Trio, do you want me to quote ur whole posts? I always find it damn hilarious if people seem to think that just attacking football belongs to the game... great goal keeping and good defending performance by the defenders themselves belongs to the game the same way like using the chances up front or creating chances belongs... and in both using the chances and goal keeping you were simply bad, while Bayern was great in defending and suberb in goal keeping... I cannot understand why people do never accept the goal keeper as a part of a game... if a striker scores 3 goals in a game, it is great deal of the striker... if a keeper denys 5 great shots with unbelievable reflexes, it is just sheer luck...

@RealPlayer, I never denied that the successes of the French NT were deserved... they needed a good amount of luck on their way to the titles, but they deserved it nevertheless.

@Verdi... damn, couldnt find better words to describe the funny point of view of some Real Madrid fans than yours. Good job ;)

#25 ·
I'm getting very tired of this... but I'll try not to blow up...

Verdi, kindly do not lump all Real Madrid fans into the Bayern bashing group. I doubt most Real fans really think that Bayern played badly or should have bowed down to Real in the sense that you were talking about... or words to that effect. Naturally we were upset, because the Bernabeu is not the kind of place where defeat is taken lightly (and this goes for most, if not all the home ground stadiums for the clubs).

For what it's worth, I doubt Real is all money and hype. They would not be where they are today if they were. And likewise I know Bayern isn't only a German team who knows how to defend. I've seen the way they play in matches, I know what they are capable of. Real and Bayern have made it here because they are solid teams, and besides Real being one of my favorite clubs, I also happen to admire Bayern, & Effenberg in particular, very much.

I think the handshake thing is optional, but most do it for good grace. There is no rule saying that you must shake the opponent's hand, especially not if you're doing it to shove your victory in his face. Players shake hands out of sportsmanship and to be gracious. But not shaking hands after a defeat... if you're upset, sometimes you just don't want to face the world. I'm sure everybody can understand this feeling.

Can we just try to keep tempers down? It gets very tiring to read posts like that...

If all you hear for a whole winter is how "unbeatable" Manchester United and Real Madrid are you just can't help falling in love with Bayern. :) I think it's refreshing and good for football.

And as far as the hand shake thing goes. All there is to it is: Stand up, be proud, shake their hands. Surely not too much to ask from grown men, right? You can't just turn to a :crybaby: and refuse to act like an adult everytime you lose, or? This is something we learn 6 year old kids do here. So for me it's a natural part of a football game. I thought that the whole idea with sportsmanship was to be able to lose, and win, in a gracious manner. Of course you're upset and angry after a loss. But isn't that why we have something called sportsmanship in the first place?
