I've seen the legend today. We went for lunch and he had soup and steak while I had tagliatelle and fish brochette. We talked about the match, the presidency, music, Honree and as usual with Blaugrana, there's never a dull moment.

I had to take my sister out of the whorehouse for this one. I had only played the first.

The name Shenmue is to do with a specific tree. Didn't know more than that until I looked it up on wikipedia.

I know that Nozomi was the chick if I'm not mistaken, and Lan Di was the killbot to Ryo's dad. Had to look the rest up. I'm too busy whoring achievement points to remember stuff nowadays, brah.

I thought Shenmue II was better than the original, I recommend you ask your sister for a copy very kindly. It's got some great action, cool characters and some beautiful, exotic scenes too.

Absolutely gutted it flopped sales-wise. The only bad thing is the cliffhanger ending. Of course no third installment, it hadn't proven to be fiscally viable.

It's about a former gang member turn lawyer who teaches 5 stupid high school students with an objective to make them pass the Tokyo University's entry exam.
I thought it's quite funny/somewhat cool underdog story..

The description sort of reminds me of GTO, Great Teacher Onizuka. Onizuka is a former gang member too who applies to become a teacher at this really run-down school. The students don't trust teachers due to past events and they harass him. But, Onizuka, with his background, finds his way out of trouble in the process and teaches them a lesson. Also, the headmaster disapproves of him because of his unconventional teaching techniques, but students grow to enjoy them; above all, he makes school enjoyable for them.

That show sounds interesting. How is it presented, live action or animated?
