Actually wouldn't mind Allen getting a start somewhere, not sure in what position though. I'm not a big fan of Lucas and Allen partnering up and I'm not sure Allen will give us much in terms of attacking contributions. I would like to see the Allen that we saw at the start of last season, he got hold of the ball and made it stick. We need that ability desperately.

id play something like that, rest some players for the weekend, all the while play a semi-decent side if we win then we can field stronger sides in the competition but for now dont risk too much in the early stages of the comp.

 

I like it. I think Stevie definitely needs a rest, and getting Allen some game time is good. Playing Kelly is a must, though I wish Cissokho would've been healthy. I don't want to overplay Enrique.
