:excited:Just for the note

Corinthians U-17 just beat Barcelona U-17 IN SPAIN, at the Fifa world club cup of the category to win the world cup.

It was the second time it played and the first game ended in a draw, consequently CORINTHIANS winning the group.

So much for La Masia being the greatest ever football academy of the world.:rollani::drunk::proud:

O MUNDO E NOSSO... CORINTHIANS:thumbsup::drunk::happy::proud::proud::proud:

Barcelona played their B junior team, the one coached by Sergi, which I think is one of the worst and with most ugly style in the whole FC Barcelona. They play many long balls and have very few quality players.
To be honest, I was surprised they reached the final.

The A junior team is much better, and Spanish champion.

Congrats to Corinthians though, by far the best in team in that tournament.

Youth football so will go in the youth forum, although keeping this thread open seems like some kind of consent for its existence. :)

Barca starting 11 (U17 CWC): Ondoa(15) - Ruano(16), Costa(17), Olivan(17), Grimaldo(15) - Quintillá(14), Babunski(17), Colina(16) - Moussima(17), Herrera(17), Balde (16)

*Subs:

- Maxi Rolan(16) for the injured O.Moussima
- Ebwelle(15) and Iu Ranera(15) on for Keita Balde and Cristian Herrera
- Mamadou(15) on for Aitor. Sergi Berjuan going all in with a 3-4-3 in the last minutes!
========================

We played with "9" cadets.. 5 as starters.. 4 as subs!!
5 players are just 15 years old & one is just 14!!
===========================

Youngcules @ twitter:

- Players like Calvet, Nando, Deulofeu, Dongou, Samper, P. Garcia, Bako, Balleste, Sandro etc. none of them played due to various reasons like playing in the Juvenil Copa del Rey final and the Spanish U-16 team. Also Jon Toral and Hector Bellerin who will go to Arsenal. We are talking about some of the best players in the world in their respective youth-group.
- Do remember though, this is not even close to our best U-17 team.
- Barca have been no match to Corinthians physically. So playing such a young team was probably not the best idea.

Sorry Ze, but your U-17 team defeated a team where half the team was 15 year olds and even a 14 year old. Obviously I don't need to mention that the physical difference alone between a 15 year old's and 17 year old's isn't the same as 25 against 27 year old's for example. The fact that they reached the final is incredible in itself. Cadete players usually only play 80 minutes of football.

Note that the best player in the team, the #5 LB Alejandro Grimaldo is only 15 years old!

Congrats though. Let's see how many here will make a name for themselves when they grow up.

The one that had Gary Neville and Sylvestre Trembling of fear when they saw Romario and Edmundo playing together in a packet Maracana.... and were schooled on how to play football:thumbsup:

Something that Valencia will never do to them, as Valencia have no clue how to play football themsves, coming from some insignificant town in the east side of Spain.
