Alright people, here we have todays draw. Our first game will be in Santander!

Again, the game in Bernabeu may be decisive for the title (32th Round out of 38). Unlesss, naturally, they don't show their true incompetent face earlier, if not, we'll show to Borinho and his coconuts how inferior they are in the middle of Madrid third time in a row.

Of the last five matches Espanyol and Deportivo could be tricky, but they're home matches in the end. The others might still fight relegation by then, this could also turn out to be quite a threat. But I'm confident that Barça will win them after all.

The second Clasico is at their place AGAIN? :yuck: There aren't rules to swap rivalry fixtures around like in more civilised leagues? Joke setup. The only good thing I can see from this brown envelope situation is that we'll get the Atletico away defeat out of the way early. :D

So in official speak nobody was promoted to the first team.

Anyone else think with the handing of the No. 9 jersey to Bojan, this is his make or break year? If he doesnt quite cut it, he could be offloaded next season?

Its sad though that when everybody fit, the make-or-break Bojan with his fancy nr.9 shirt will sit on the bench. Its make-or-break every season. I think fairly we can only expect him to improve his game by some margin, score some goals and be a more leading figure in the Copa campaign. So in other words somewhere around 25 games, 10+ goals in the league and being one of the leaders at least in some of the first games of the Copa run and id be pleased with him. And i guess its vital for him to show Pep that for him it has become more comfortable playing on the leftwing when we play our usual 4-3-3.

One still cant forget that depending on our formations, he is the 4th pick for the frontline. Or even 5th, depending on how Iniesta will be used. There is the talk of having to break down the door but yknow for him, the door is being hold locked by the worlds best player, the worlds best forward, and problably the most decisive player in the game today, Pedro. Not to mention the occasional obstacle in one of the worlds best CM.

So going by the comments Guardiola has made, imo theres little chance of the club letting Bojan leave. Though if things are not working out, i do see a little chance of Bojan himself wanting a move to secure playing time.

On the list, 10 out of 19 are homegrown players. Nice.

I see in Bojan great potential, but he has to be patient like Messi was. There isn't any doubt that he has the skills and finishing, but he lacks experience. I bet he would've been our hero had that goal against Inter not have been disallowed. For him to become a starter, he'd have to do something special. Here's a link to a video of Bojan's goals last year http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-0cDfxtTG8

La Liga isn't boring. It's probably the most unpredictable league in the world and the football is all about attack. Last season every position in the league was decided in the last week except the 3rd (Valencia). There are no weak teams in La Liga. Atletico Madrid could be losing to Racing Santander one week and then they'll win Barca the next. Villareal took second in the 07-08 season. Mallorca came close to getting a Champions League spot last year. The clubs that are promoted stay in the league for a couple of seasons. It's ranked as the number 1 league in the world. Most importantly it's got the best team in the world. FC Barcelona the current Club World Champions, and the league is home to the World Cup Winners.
