La Liga - Jornada 15
Sunday, December 12th, 2010 - 19:00 CET
Real Zaragoza vs. Real Madrid
La Romareda - Zaragoza, Spain

Off to La Romareda this Sunday to face last place Real Zaragoza. Anything but 3 points would be a disaster.

AS say Benzema to start, Lass to occupy Khedira's spot as Sami is suspended for picking up 5 yellows, and Di Maria likely to be fit. However, if Di Maria can't go, it'll be Pedro Leon.

Probable line-up:

Casillas

Arbeloa - Pepe - Carvalho - Marcelo

Lass - Xabi

Di Maria - Ozil - Cristiano

Benzema

HALA MADRID!

Im kind of nervous about this game. Zaragoza are dead last and really struggling so thats exactly what makes them dangerous, they're a decent team that are underachieving bigtime and there's no doubt they're going to be all riled up for this game especially at home infront of their fans. I dont expect a blowout, this should go down right to the wire. Ill take any kind of victory here.

Porteros: Casillas, Adán y Pacheco.
Defensas: Arbeloa, Pepe, Albiol, Mateos, Carvalho, Garay y Marcelo.
Centrocampistas: Lass, Diarra, Granero, Xabi Alonso, Ă–zil, Di MarĂa y Pedro LeĂłn.
Delanteros: Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema y Morata.
Mateos and Pacheco will probably stay in the stands. Ramos has some problems with his knee.

Iker; Arbeloa, Pepe, Carvalho, Marcelo; Lass, Xabi; Di Maria, Ozil, Cristiano; Benzema.

I'm glad some of us agree that Arbeloa deserves to start, Ramos has to get his shit together and finally develope as a player.

I'm not afraid of Zaragoza, we will take the three points. Looking forward to seeing Benzema play alongside Ă–zil and Di Maria. I hope he'll score again.

Mourinho:

"Arbeloa was going to be the starter, he has won the spot at right-back. The injury to Ramos has nothing to do with it."

A clear message to Sergio.

"If I don’t start Benzema I will be penalizing a player who had a great match earlier this week and who deserves the chance to be happy. But if he starts and I have to change things around, I will have to play Albiol or Garay as a center forward. I know what is best for Benzema, but I need to think about what is best for the team."

well hes just undone that nice bit on arbeloa.

that sounds like a cop out or basically "see what happens when u dont buy me a striker". just play ronaldo upfront, it hasnt stopped him before, if he really does need to change things around.

surely Morata cant be that bad of an option either.,

EDIT: i take that middle part nback, just read the rest of it. hes right, but still morata shjould be some sort of option.

Fantastic stuff from Mou, anybody read the quote on Mou's response to what Monkey Alves said about Mou inventing football?....a master of the press conference surely.

And I agree with him and his assesment of Benzema, also that Sergio is sitting down this will be a message to the entire squad, you go to sleep you lose your place in the starting 11

We will need to be careful with that attacking midfield of Lafita, Ander, and Bertolo. Lots of skill there, they can really do some damage when given some freedom.

Paredes and Diogo are liabilities, RM up 1-0.

The TV director made it perfect:
Shot 1: DiMaria with a beautiful long pass to Benzema.
Shot 2: Benzema somehow go into slow motion and let two players catch up on him, completely loosing the one-on-one with the goalkeeper.
Shot 3: Mourinho nodding is head from side to side not understanding how this was not our second goal...

I was laughing for like 5 minutes. Priceless TV moment.
