I suppose this match will be for the squad players so I expect a draw at best. Our squad players are not good enough IMO

 

Why is the match played in Geneva ? Like the Argentina - England match... hmmm.

Lippi said he will rotate the entire squad.

The midfield looks lightweight. I'd love to see De Rossi in a full 90 minute performance wearing NT colours, though, and I hope Iaquinta will seize his chance.

it's quite perturbing really. never saw that

well, on the match, seems a balanced match. none squad is really dominationg. the ball go to one side to the other.
for once, seems the ivorians can defend properly.
and as for the ivory attack, just miss the ultime pass.

 

drogba scored. big shoot at 2 meters of the goalie. the goalie couldn't do nothing.

goal for italy. the number 20 scored, i didn't see his name, seems the commentator said he was from the samp.

 

big contreversy in the last minutes, the number 20 which called diana, shoot from the 30 meters. seems the ball was almost in the net, but the goalie put it back.

A few comments after the game:
- What the hell is Barone doing in the team and why did he play as a RM in the first half? We had close to zero attacks from the right side before the break.
- De Rossi finally played well for the Azzurri
- Camoranesi was probably our best palyer, he really moved a lot and was the most creative player tonight
- Iaquinta failed so many times to pass the final ball to a teammate in great position that I felt sorry for him

Ivory Coast played quite well and their goal was spectacular.

 

I thought most of the team played quite well. Low points were Iaquinta who doesn't seem to fit it (for example missed an exquisite chance after a great pass from the number 10 ) and Materazzi I thought could really have been better too.
