this is a list of the top teams who make fouls...

Atleast were better then Croatia on this ..... :lick:

LOL... I saw this too and thought... That cant be right untill I looked a bit closer... :D

Croatia is dropping down this list fast with the new style of play we have adopted under Slaven Bilic. We have only got one yellow card in the qualifiers so far and we make very few fauls... Infact on the fair play list we are second to Denmark so far in these quals...

This is mainly due to the attacking minded players that slaven has chosen and the "Joga Bonito" mantality...

Intresting to see that the first six countries on the list are South Americans. Despite having a supposedly more technical football their style of marking and tackling are surely dependable on fouls. Less physical teams have to appeal to fouls.

Yeah now that you mention it it is interesting to see that...

50 yellows for Uruguay in 18 games...!! Man oh man that is high.

One explanation would be that in the quals they play against Brazil who you have to stop by fauling... :smileani:

Yeah I thought of that too but its not just the south american referees that ref their games is it?
