I only came across Madridista today. I am thinking of arranging a trip to Madrid and hope to be there during the Madrid-Mallorca game on the last weekend of the season.

Madridista cards are available for only 20 eur. now, so I think it might be a worthwhile investment. However, do you reckon it would be quite easy to get tickets on general sale? I suppose it all depends on what position the league is in come the last day of the season...

I've heard that Madridista's can request tickets up to a month before the game. How does this work? Do they stop requests once they have reached a certain limit?

Also, is there anything in Terms & Conditions about automatic renewal? I coudn't see anything, but I may have missed something!

Sorry for all the questions! Any help would be much appreciated.

welcome aboard. :)

1 month in advance? No idea how long socios can reserve their tickets in advance. You can buy in advance also but only VIP tickets that are very expensive. Usually the sale starts more or less 1 week in advance and with the Madridista card you have the advantage of 1 day before the general sale that gives you a better chance of a place. Thats the official sale at least. If you plan to buy from other ticket sellers in the internet, I cant tell you as I dont support them.

on the standing of the teams ... not necessarily, 4 years ago when I was there we played against the last in the table and I didnt get a ticket anymore. Sold out by 3 days before. My friend helped me out with his abono.

the card abo is automatically prolonged every year and you get a new card by it. If you want to finnish, you have to tell them.

@aztattooedsean yes the ID is your passport ID

there are definitely discounts there in Madrid. Entrance at Valdebebas is free (at least was 4 years ago), Real Café, tickets for Castilla & the BB team I think, etc.

next year, you have to tell them to finnish, otherwise its automatically prolonged

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, it shows automatic renewal at the regular prices unless you contact them to stop it.

That said, I will keep renewing it although I am contemplating which of the 3 options I want. I think the Basic option is good enough for me but still thinking it over.

I really don't care if I don't get advantage when trying to see that Messi team as I don't plan my yearly European trips around any teams. I usually can make it over around my birthday in mid September so I don't care who I see Real Madrid beat up. :yess:

I like the stadium tour discounts along with restaurant deals and what not. It is always tougher for me being I am a vegetarian though. Some places are more ready for someone like me. :)

I just recently became a Madridista^^

Mainly coz it was 1/2 off and I wanted to try and win that trip to Madrid XD

The only problem I had when signing up was trying to actually get a LIVE person on the phone. I accidentally signed up with Basic when I wanted Special. So it took a week to fix. I called them on both numbers and it would ring for 4 min then disconnect. It would ring, pick up then hang up. So it wasn't until I emailed them from 2 different accounts and tweeted them and FB them that someone got back to me and fixed it all

I did read that when I signed up it would take 45 days to get my card and stuff.

I'm hoping they play a home game coz I'll be in Madrid in September >.< And I did read that you have to ask for the tix a month in advance. I'll see if this is true in August.

I became an official madridista here 5.5 years ago, got some discounts, the Tour and the card was told me to be sent to me in a month. nothing came and the payment didnt went through either. Then I endet up printing out the formular linked and send it to them all traditionally per post. That worked.

If you plan to go to Madrid, I can just advice it to get it here (at the stadium, Torre A). Ivan has got his there. Its 40€ for all and you get a scarf as present, the newest journal edition and free entrance to the Tour (that is 16€). I say get it at the stadium, because if you buy in Calle Carmen, like a guy I met and as I had last time, you dont get the card directly and so you cant enter Valdebebas.

There are Ticket offices in Valdebebas and entry is just something about 3€ but I have never seen it open and I was there quite a few times. When you dont have a card and the cash desk is closed they wont let you in like it happened with Ivan, who couldnt see RMC this way. With the card you can just walk in. Plus you can see Castilla for free as well, even though youll get a ticket.

For a game its very useful to have an advantage of 1 day before the public sale of the tickets. Per phone & web. Web is very convenient, although you should be aware that you should take the same credit card with you which you buy the tickets. Right next to the adidas shop are machines where you just enter the card press print and your tickets will be printed. (Goes the same way at servicaixa I think, Ivan has used, he can tell you later about his experiences).

You get percentages at the shop (5%), the tour (11€), Real Cafe and RM basketball games.

as well as getting the journal sent to your home (paper edition) or per email, depending on the package you choose.

P.S. when you buy it here be sure your credit card is accepted. MasterCard, Visa,...

Guys, quick question. Looking to buy a RM match ticket and was looking into signing up for Madridista membership.
Do you get your Madridista number when you sign up (so you can use straight away) or it's only written on your card so you can use it only when you receive your card in the post?

Cheers!
