Figure it's a good time to start this thread.

Note, this will be Sako Papi's farewell match.

Thoughts about this match...probably a boring 0-0 draw or a small margin of victory for us. VM has to call up some new defenders because quite frankly, this current backline isn't cutting it. He needs to start using these friendlies for what they are meant for.

Here are players I'd love to see against Lithuania:
Arsen Beglaryan-Proved to be a promising keeper after Gandzasar's matches in the Europa league
Gor Elazyan-Good results with our U21 matches with Wales and Montenegro
Hovhannes Hambardzumyan-No questions asked deserves to be called up
Taron Voskanyan-Good U21 matches and decent with Pyunik
Varazdat Haroyan-No comment
Norayr Gyozalyan-Very young and top scorer in our league
Gevorg Badalyan- 6-2 and very physical and in decent club
Zaven Badoyan- Needs to get a chance to play to prove himself

I wanna see all of Heno, Yura, Aras, Gevo, Markos, and the rest of our starters benched and I wanna see new fresh young faces who are willing to chip in. Start Malakyan, Badoyan, Haroyan, the Hovo brothers. Hell, call up Tumasyan and Andonyan. We need to test new players to see how well they fit in, especially on the defensive end because quite frankly, there is no way we can not not improve this pathetic D we have right now.

I would love to see this lineup:

*Boghossian Guevgeozian
Yura**Pizzeili**Heno**Ozbiliz
Haroyan*Anadonyan*Tumasyan*Khachaturyan
**********Beglaryan

I know most people will be WTF but this might be the most talented lineup.

Khachaturyan was left off the Belarus roster for the last match and is still eligable. Boghossian and Guevgeozian are best friends. We could use Sarkisov, Manucharyan off the bench. Kandikjan will be the back up goalkeeper.

If some of those guys still want to play for our NT (god knows what happened between VM, rubo and some of those players) then . it would be quite interesting, and maybe even bring some aggressiveness to the team. if the federation is competent enough to pull those guys in then why not!

we need to show lots of faith in Arzumanyan who is looking real good, our defense must be built around him for the next 5 years to come... he is a smart player and tall, a bit more strength and better club team and he can be one of our best center backs ever.

Well minasyan has no excuse to not try new players. We have the friendlies vs Lithuania and Turkmenistan and these guys that are coming up through the U21 absolutely need to play and get accustomed

Teams that are comparable to us.

We should be playing teams like Austria, Poland, Romania, Albania, etc.

If they were smart, they'd play a friendly in the US against the USA, Mexico, or some central/south American team in LA.

Everyone would go to the match

I would love to play those European teams you mentioned, but they have bigger fish to fry and they wanna aim higher than us at the moment. As for playing friendlies in the US and Mexico in the Rose Bowl, hell to the fvcking yah
