Just like to mention Veljko Paunovic's hattrick within 6 minutes for Tenerife against Zaragoza this weekend. Goran Drulic still injured. But Veljko's made his debut for the NT, never again called up after that, might this be his second shot?

In other spanish games, Ivan Tomic played the entire game against Real even though Alaves received a good beating, (1-5) and Njegus came in the last minute in the Sevilla derby.

Any of these guys deserve a shot in your opinion?

 

it would be nice to see paunovic given another try with the NT. he has some creativity under his feet.
it's a shame for drulic cause he would complete the Nt attack very well. Njegus lacks playing time. any news about Djorovic and jovan stankovic ?

 

Both didnt get any action this weekend, sadly.

I think Paunovic deserves a shot, he's used best as a striker or playing behind them. With Keza gone there's one spot open. Lazovic, Paunovic are candidates who else?

Drulic should be back within a few weeks, and hopefully this time things will go well.

Drulic is in bad shape as Zaragoza are. He has been recuperating from a third knee surgery. According to today report in "Glas javnosti", seems that psychologically he is rather down - who can blame him after having 3 major knee surgeries within 4 years. Half of that time he spent recuperating rather than playing. He was such a promissing player with such a bad luck.

 

yes, all we can hope is that his career isn't over... he was so brilliant.

btw, i've seen tonight 's game between sochaux FC and Lille OSC in the french league and Nisa Saveljic did a great match. he scored 1 and assisted 1, he also made a great defending.
i like this player. he can show some international talent sometimes. it's a shame he didn't more often. he's in great shape currently and appears to be one of the best defenders in the french league as dzodic if he wasn't so regularly injured.

kezman scored from a penalty kick in psv 's victory against nec nijmegen 2-1.

stankovic scored the only lazio's goal tonight in the hot derby against as roma which ended in a draw.

jovan stankovic played in a tremendous victory of his club over valencia na gosti. he was booked.

 

And what a goal, Stankovic scored it was truly great, Cesar ran down the wing and played a short in field ball for Stankovic, he then played a 1-2 with Giannichedda, then another 1-2 with Chiesa and with Chiesa chipping the ball over the defence, Deki then chested it and on the volley lobbed the goal keeper, he was Lazio's best player and our hard man Mihajlovic, palyed 80 mins with bruised ribs and was very solid at the back.

Kovacevic scored 1 and played a part in another as Sociedad beat Alaves 3-1.

 

I believe that was Kovacevic's 13th goal in the Spanish top division for Sociedad this past weekend.

Jovan Stankovic has always been a very decent player, one that we shouldn't have let leave :moan:

 

Seems that Jovan Stankovic played a significant minutes (if not the entire game?) in the last game vs. Valencia. He has had personal problems with the current Atletico coach who does not always appreicate Jovan's football qualities.

 

kovacevic had a great game yesterday with a lot of occasions. he's very impressive this season and even seemed to have made improvements in his game. he proves he's the best striker currently along with kezman.

 

True, but Mijat and Kova should start up front in the next couple NT matches. Even if Keza stayed on our team, he doesn't deserve to start, he hasn't used his chances to prove himself, while Mijat and Kova have.
The only way we could fit Keza in the starting 11 is having him up front with Kova and Mijat behind the two of them playing an attacking midfielder role.

MOST DEFINITELY! It's now or never, if Koeman arrives in 1,5 years -he will, with Cruyff - then Lazovic chances are very slim so I really hope Antic will buy him! Would be great it's the transfer I'm hoping for the most at this moment.

 

So Partizan is selling 2 of it's best and certainly most talented players, it would be a shame to see Vukic leave for Ukraine, I'd have thought at least he could reach Italy or Spain.

Lazovic is too young to move, however I certainly dont mind him leaving..

Even though when I think about it, even when he was in Zvezda he was a bit of a troublemaker, I remember him knocking out a reporter and some say he also knocked out the coach of Hajduk Split, but that is something I don't quite remember...

 

I always liked the guy, he had spirit on the pitch. I'll always remember how he kissed Stojanovic for good luck after he had scored his penalty.

Njegus was playing at the start of the season but got injured and for the Seville derby he was on the bench.

Jovan Stankovic was a regular at the start of the season with something like 10 assists in 12 games 7 in 8 goals or something like that. Then he stopped playing but played VS Valencia.

Mihajlovic is back, VS Empoli, he hit the bar from a free - kick, set 2 goals up, 1 from corner, 1 from free kick and nearly scored from a corner.

I don't know about Krtsajic or Stefanovic but I do know Vitesse conceded 5 vs PSV but kezman was suspended.

 

Stefanovic was suspended too for that game.

 

Stankovic scored a great header in the 2 - 1 defeat to Parma, Mihajlovic pulled out due to a thigh strain in the warm up.

Kezman got both of PSV's goals vs Ajax today, who said he couldn't score important goals.
