Has the premiership lost its allure?

No decent players coming in this summer with teams being outbid by Monaco of all people, awful recent CL performances putting players off. Bale, Suarez and Rooney all likely to leave, leaving a total of about 6 world class players remaining in the league.

Where will it rank next season in terms of European leagues? I would guess at around 4th.

Its in a much better shape then they were years ago, when 3 teams would make SF OF CL.
Right now there are more teams in EPL, and quality of teams between 11 - 20 is superior to back then when 3 teams made SF of CL.
Also there is new TV rights money, and most clubs will continue generating more revenues.

Eh, it'll still be bigger than the French & Italian leagues. 3rd maybe. But it's also got the fact that it's far more competitive than Spain & Germany going for it. So I'd not get your panties in a twist yet. But mind you, the EPL holds absolutely no allure for me anyway so eh.

so when Remy transfers for a team which will play in the CL to ****ing QPR its not about money? But with Hulk and Falcao it is? :D

It hasn't lost its allure but I still laugh at some of the British media (mostly the ex-pro jocks) thinking is the best thing around, thinking playing for a team like Liverpool is still above some club abroad playing in the CL

The EPL biggest problem is not the attraction but on 37% of the players are English. There national side will suffer for generations. (I got that figure from sky sports)

Mourinho's presence made EPL #1. before

He is going to attract just about everyone to watch EPL... beginning with Chelsea.

Great Stories about how AVB tries to outsmart Mou. And if Moyes will do it better than Fergie v Mou... and How Pellegrini would want to show his worth v Mou.

Its all about Mou and he will bring back the Missing Allure... and the players

Even Russia has better defenses than in Spain. It's a joke.
