I hope we just signed the next Hernan Crespo, 13 million euros for an unproven young talent is a little too much but at least he has potential. Very similar to Crespo from what I have seen, but of course the guy needs to prove himself in Europe first.

I doubt he will get much playing time, but I am hoping to see him get some action in La Copa.

i dunno if he'll adjust as much to La Liga, he's a typical argentine no.9 and you won't see him much in the teams build up play (which the Bernabeu demands) but you will see him with lethal finishing, rigt now it's a doubt but with MAdrid's massive economic power it's not such a big bet.

As long as he scores goals and turns out to be a David Villa or a Crespo, nobody will complain.

I just hope he has the attributes to succeed as a no.9, we don't need any more "support forwards", we have plenty of those.

You make it sound like turning out to be a David Villa or Hernan Crespo is a small feat.

Thanks for that, arfy. :) And the sky is blue. ;)

Well, when you're the club of Kings... :)

Gago, Marcelo and Higuain, will that be it for January?

Some good business there for potentially top players.
If there's one more signing, it would be a CB.

Who would be your dream signing for that position? :pp
My DREAM signing? A healthy Gonzalo Rodriguez.

My realistic signing that I'd still like? Alexis.

Higuain, Gago, Marcelo. I predict Sherman Cardenas or Nicolas Millan next!

Calderon = Avid FM2007 player, he takes it on his laptop to the presidents boxes for the matches. Thats why you see him celebrating goals even if Madrid are losing :proud:

I like the fact we're investing in young talent but i also want to see some home grown players like Mata get their chance. If we buy too many players we're closing the doors on all our youngsters and we have some talents in Castilla. It would be a shame to waste them
